Fate/Extra Western Release! Also: Sequel Planned!

Actually CCC was described as a "Sakura Route", hence the copious amounts of Sakura in most screenshots. If anything I think it'll be a different take on this story, but with the same Playable Servants at your disposal.

While it maybe a Sakura Route they never said they were limiting it to just that so its possible for a continuation in CCC

Either way would be pretty badass, honestly. I just hope it gets localized.

I replayed the entire damn game up to the Round 7, Day 3 and NO backstory for her. Saber just got into it on this day in my playthrough with her, but apparently the method to getting Caster's backstory is strict.

Anyone know how I can get Caster to tell me her past? I was willing to go through the game one more time just to get it, but I'll be fucking a wombat before I play through a third time just for this shit.
Just so damn angry right now. My favorite Servant just had to be the one that's known for having a difficult matrix to max out.

It also has "ALL" the attack combination of all the mosnters and Servants.

I knew the game went by attack combinations and not just random inputs! I was about to track down all of Rank 4's attacks until I ended up beating them before I could.

I've gone through this game 3 times now, twice with Caster. I'm pretty good on what enemies do what. All I need to know is how to maximize Caster's Matrix to E. ...Maybe Archer's too, while I'm at it.

I though there is some debate of Caster having the affection points. Some people followed the faqs but they still could not get her to Matrix level E

Woot just got my Saber Extra/Red figure and aside from the paint job on the hair being a little meh everything else is pretty badass.

Also if you play on easy do you miss out on anything I played it on normal for Saber and halfway through normal on Archer but aside from being easier is there any difference?

And no, I do not go by the "True End" of that particular title. Fate/Stay Night had a good bitter/sweet end, but fuck that other ending. The Good Ending is true for me.
...Though I never understood why the Good Ending couldn't just come after the True Ending.

I had originally gone into this game thinking I'd hate or laugh at Saber, adore Caster, and play as FemMC with Archer against Rin since the two Servants clashing again is just too good to pass up.
_Since then I've come to like Saber the most, grow frustrated at how Caster berates every enemy (some of them I really liked, but because she loves the protagonist so much she just can't help but rag on them), and can't bring myself to use Archer against my intended target since...I really like them and their role in the story.

Through it all, after all my playthroughs, one thing has remained constant:
Rin Tousaka rocks

How's the ending with Rani? I'm sure it's well written, but aside from a lot of other factors and a WTF moment with that surprise Berserker (saw the ending to that battle...and I was floored at how it broke the narrative for me, even if it was fun), I just like the way things play out with Rin. The theme flows so smoothly, especially with Saber and Archer (he already nailed the main theme of the story on the first yellow talk! How the hell-?), that I kind of don't want to play through with another take on the narrative. I was the same way with Fate/Stay Night and every other VN I ever played.



On your second playthrough (starting with New Game+), finish all of Taiga's quests.
On the final day of the game you'll see a thermos with a note where Taiga usually stands. Read the note and go into the Arena.

I was really teetering there for a while, but after seeing her call out Gawain in that fight and watching her close off the game, I have to say she is my favorite Fate Extra servant. I don't know if she's better than Saber FSN for me, and Saber Apocrypholiosis is a character I'm really holding out for, but Saber Extra Red Hot Cinnamon is a favorite of mine.
That line at Gawain and his Master was phenomenal. I'd like Archer even more than I do, but I'd prefer to think the cast of Fate and the cast of Fate Extra are entirely different, and Archer kind of blows up that spot. When I see the Holy Grail destroyed in a narrative, I'd like to think the thing is gone for good.
