which one's your favorite?

wow, I'm a bit surprised a poll like this doesn't exist...if it does and I missed it, I guess it proves that fapping can make you blind and I need some glasses ASAP...<_< lol. Anyway, this is easily one of the most popular and well known video game series out there and most of us know a few of them and finished one, two or more. From highjacking cars, boats, bicycles, helicopters...this series has always been about freedom of choice. Getting from point A to point B, whichever way you prefered. So, which one's your favorite? I'm pretty sure most people will vote between Vice city, SA and 4 but I figured I should give people all the options lol.

People that vote and don't explain why...gotta love that..*sigh*
Mine is San Andreas due to the sheer amount of gameplay there is in it. Not everyone liked the whole gangster theme that it had compared to Vice city's drug dealing affair lol. I personally found GTA4 to be somewhat dissapointing cause when you go from SA to 4, you see how much has dissapeared...I dunno why they cut back on so much of the things you could do in SA...the storyline was overall good in 4 but SA is my favorite of all

I'll keep the 2 as my eternal favorite. What's better than shooting near a train station and everyone go and run on the rail and get electrocuted?

GTA - Never played it
GTA 2 - I enjoyed it but somehow kept having the feeling I was missing somehting. Dunno what, years later I still haven't figured it out. (or maybe because I was cheating in every game at that time)
GTA London - Never played it
GTA 3 - At first the 3D world was fun but the moment I got on the second island I got bored.
GTA Vice city - This one was fun but sometimes frustrating the get some money to buy (didn't bother with the Taxi missions) new properties or finding the right car for the Car sell property.
GTA San andreas - I played this a lot, spend hours with my AK-47 just trying to conquer more territory for the Grove. Though I was a bit annoyed that the hidden 'packages' (grafity, oisters, etc) where 3 times more then the previous games. Though they unlocked weapons on that island only which somehow balanced it out.
GTA Liberty city stories - I played and completed it but I'm not that much of a fan of the PSP game.
GTA Vice city stories - Played it, never got to the second island. plus somehow whenever I'm on a bike I kept making wheelies no matter how I held the controller.
GTA 4 (PC) - I would enjoy this more if I don't have to play with the lowest of lowest quality settings. but still the story line is fun (to me at least) and I enjoy the new fysics engine and then to mess around with it a lot. (Car + grenade + jump at the right moment = Epic flight scenes)
GTA Chinatown wars - never played it
All in all my vote goes for GTA4

My favorite is GTA San Andreas, I have not played Liberty City Stories, Chinatown wars or GTA 4, I liked the old ones but for me 3D was better and San Andreas perfected that, I need to get my self some money and go buy GTA 4 soon

After all, it's just a game lol. If your serious about buying it and not burning it, I'd suggest waiting for the price tag to go down a bit.

Again lol just games. Personally, I'd probably still be satisfied with my gamecube, xbox, ps2, n64 and psp, but I am happy to have a modded 360 too lol

I definitely had the most fun with Vice City. I love the 80's theme and had the best radio stations. 8)

Vice City all the way. All that 80's crap is just too awesome, I wish the game had San Andreas's size.
GTA (and London) = Awesome back in the day, multiplayer ruled.
GTA 2 = Okay, didn't like the "near future" setting too much
GTA 3 = Pretty good, unlikeable protagonist though.
Vice City = see above
San Andreas = Good, really big world but all that hip hop gangsta bullshit annoyed me.
LCS = Okay, but nothing special
VCS = Didn't liked it, good music though.
GTA 4 = Too slow, awful controls, annoying phone call gimmick...I prefer Saints Row 2 over this
Chinatown Wars = Bullshit.

I definitely was a little biased because that is my favorite song of the 80's. By the way, the commercials and interviews were the absolute best. My favorite interview was the one with Thor! Go and live in a chimney, ye troll!
And I remember a commercial advertising Rusty Brown's ring donuts...One person was saying how she likes to lick around the inside and stick her tongue in the middle.

oh, that was your favorite song? Damn, talk about a lucky guess lol. Fernando was the best host out of all the radio station. Then there was VCPR...god that made me lol

Vice City, such a great era for it and memorable missions, plus the two chat radio stations were just epic.
