it is sad they aren't going to do a port over to the 360. :/ not only would they make double if not triple the cash, but they would be getting on the good side with their fans.

Man, Zanarkand theme still gives me chills, almost teared up from that trailer... I think I'm gonna fall asleep listening to the soundtrack tonight >.> Cant wait for this to be released.

I've already beat FFX for Playstation 2,but I didn't beat FFX-2 cuz the game is pretty hard & It's sux balls to me. When the PS3 game combo comes out this year,I'll rather play FFX all over again remastered in stunning HD than playing FFX-2.

I didn't like X-2 much but Ill probably end up getting it anyway, the 100% completion on that game is ridiculous.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has a pre-order bonus in North America, and Square Enix announced what it is this morning. Anyone that pre-orders the game for PlayStation 3 will get a limited edition version that includes a 24-page art book package, with artwork from the PS2 era, and commentary by the X and X-2 development teams.
The limited edition will also feature a “special message” of some sort by producer Yoshinori Kitase. Square say you’ll be able to pre-order it from “major North American retailers”.

i dunno if i should pre-order this or not. on one hand people tell me X is one of the best Final Fantasy games next to 7. Also i dont have a ps2 and all the other final fantasy games i can get on an emulator or psn. On the other hand i could never get into final fantasy games, partly due to my hatred of the active time battle system and preferring gameplay over story.

Personally, X is one of my favorites, I grew up spending countless hours playing it.
And with X's battle system, it isn't active time, it's all turn based.
The slider in the upper right hand corner lets you know who's turn is next, so you can spend as much time as you want deciding on what action you want to take.
