Final Fantasy X|V : A Realm Reborn!

The game looks really nice, but it seems I will need a supercomputer to run it. Is there any info about the hardware requirements? I mostly play on a laptop due to life circunstances and I don't think it will be able to run that at all. Also, is it possible to sing up for beta? Thanks in advance.

According to some pre-reviews I've read XIV:RB doesn't really innovate as an MMORPG. The only thing that gets me going would be the graphics and the fact I can play a mmorpg on a console. Going to give the ps3 beta a try whenever that is.



@Praetor, sometimes I wish Nero didn't look so much like Arturia. Screw you for using such a compelling avatar :(.

Well from what I was reading the only big complaint is the UI for the game has too much going on for it. That aside im really tempted to buy it.

@Hentanize: I like to think of it the other way around that Arturia looks like Nero, but yes my avi give many a manly boner every time I look upon it.

Trying to get into this beta before the game goes retail, no luck yet =/

The UI can be scalable. and in future can be minimize to a certain degree with the help of 3rd Party UI.

no fret, if you can't get into Phase 3, come back for Phase 4 is open beta.

I know the release date for FFXIV. It's going to be released in 8/27/13 for PS3. No doubt about It!

Is going to be release for Both PS3 & PC on the 27th August 2013 also will comes to PS4 as well.

i got my invite but sadly i couldnt log in (typed my login and my password coreectly)so i created another account but didnt know it would link to sony did anybody have that problem

i am happy that i got selected for beta

yay got into the beta downloading now also got another code for the ps3, does anyone know is that a another beta access code or is just a code to download the cilent to play on the ps3? If the answer the earlier one I'm willing to share that code since my ps3 broke and I plan to play on the pc anyway

Healer has to be the hardest class to get used to on console. Targeting is a pain in the ass. Took me a while to figure out what target filters are used for.

This. There's no way in hell can I play this game on console, I may need to build a computer for this, because; as fun as this game is, it's incredibly difficult to adapt to the controls, even after about 4 hours of playing I still have difficulty targeting during FATE events.

I made a pugilist thinking it was an underrated class, and to my displeasure, EVERYONE is a pugilist. I knew I should've gone lancer. The only thing that may annoy me more than seeing pugilists everywhere is the twenty billion unoriginal names out there. (Lionheart Strife, Zac Faire, Atryu Strife, Moonsoul Strife, Hatsune Miku, Geoffry Zidane)

Auto-attacking serves very little purpose in this game, from what I've noticed.

I have to agree with the autoattack hardly does anything. Was playing lancer was doing a low level quest and wtf there literally a makeshift long line(like waiting at a theme park) that must be waited for since if everyone clicks it doesn't work pretty much stopped me from playing anymore going to create another at different town. -_-

I still havent seen a roegadyn in game (giant race). Miqo'te female, master race. I went and made a lalafell conjurer for originality. Might go and change class to a melee one because progression is slow :S.

Going back to targeting, as a healer, I accidently let a guy die in front of me while he was tanking an elite mob because i just couldnt target him even though there weren't many people around (was experimenting with filters just before). I dc'd out of shame.
