A lot of people are already doing that as is.
The one im making now is an old school rpg that acts as a prequel to comic I make.
Is I had the means and the know how I'd do some kind of platinum games-esque action game for the comic itself.

A hack and slash game where you play as Alucard (Hellsing) and you just hunt gay vampires that glitter in the sun and just beat the sh*t out of them.I'll call it Fag Vampires May Cry.

I'd either make a VN with interesting characters... Well, my idea of interesting.
Or, a 2D fighter that that didn't take it's self seriously and with heavy beats at his soundtrack.
I'm sick of fighters that have terrible music with no beats in them... I'm looking at you MK9

You'd be surprised at the number of IDs fakku has.
[not even counting myself really.]

[size=12]i'm actually already in the process of making a series of games centered around a story of mine. ; u ;
first part:
- visual novel
second part:
- old style rpg, sidestory to VN
third part:
- very basic 2D fighting game (too lazy to sprite too many complicated things - sad but true u n u)
it's a lot of work but i'm sure highly rewarding when it's finished! to everyone else out there working on projects, good luck, because mine gives me a lot of trouble. ;~; to people aspiring, with work and research, you can probably make it happen! u v u <3

i checked it, so $60 to lose the programmer part eh -_-
ill confess, that is a cheap easy alternative to building it from scratch.
i wanna build it from the ground up though...
as for me, i wanna make a tycoon game like pizza tycoon. but you're serving drugs, prostitution, weapons, booze. you get to raid other gang areas to get booze, drugs and women...
then you get skills like blackmailing politician clients, pimping, warfare or whatever...
maybe i should do this on facebook, and you can have your friends work for you as hookers!!!
anyone know what games in facebook need to be written on?

A mix of RTS and shooter involving that you can slip in to your units and do the kills yourself. Actually there was such a game or in construction I just forgot the name....

It'd have to be an RPG of course. With a world similar to Skyrim's but exclusive loot a mix between Fallout 3/NV and Borderlands (The Original). The combat however would be similar to Kingdom of Amalur's and monster battles more like Dragon's Dogma. A strong economic system would power my game though. Like instead of just hoarding like Skyrim, you would be able to open up your own kiosk and sell the more useful items (This might lead to a certain person coming and asking you to attain certain items side quest that you have the option to refuse since the things would seem sinister). Fallout 3's major choices would also have an influence. Being able to tame horses like Red Dead Redemption would also leave you with the ability to open a stable and sell horses to people passing through. Also being able to hire an assistant who would run your shop as you left for adventures(This could also lead to a side quest where you choose some certain people and end up finding out they were stealing from you). NPC's would also have a powerful presence...I've said too much, a man can dream though huh?

I had a fantasy game (as in a pipedream, not genre) that I've been toying with ideas for that could be summed up as survival-horror styled 3rd person shooter similar to Nocturne with the premise of being a part of a government organization that's tasked with dealing with monsters and paranormal activity. However, instead of simply running through a map, gunning down hordes of demons with a minigun, I would rather have it that you're stuck in a more open environment and have to track down your targets before you can capture or kill them. Basically, a hardcore monster hunting experience. Think L.A. Noire, but with the purpose of investigating areas to identify/find monsters rather than murderers. After the investigation, you're going to have to figure out what you're dealing with and arm yourself appropriately. For example, werewolves are going to require silver weapons and so on. Oh, and said monsters are going to be a bitch to kill if you botch up the investigation and go after them with the wrong equipment on hand. Don't really have much in mind in terms of a plot, but I imagine that some sort of scoring system with an online leaderboard might make things interesting.

I'd like to make a game that absolutely hates the player. They will be forced to make many choices throughout the game with the wrong choice leading to either instant or delayed death. In cases of delayed death, the game will play out like normal until a certain point, where the player will face unavoidable death. Some of the correct choices will be suicidally insane ones, like rushing into a cave full of lava that incinerates anything that gets too close to it and only had a narrow path to walk on that is full of enemies. Enemies will also be ten levels above the player at all times and will all have abilities that give them extra tuns or reliably causes instant death. Bosses will have buffed versions of both, naturally.
Graphics will be on par with the Atari's graphics. The game's soundtrack will consist of only the most annoying noises known to man. Voice acting will be done by only ten year-old children met on Xbox Live. The plot will be absolute garbage that doesn't make any sense at all. The ending will be a deus ex machina, and will cause the player's party to die at the end for no reason. There will also be differences between each version of the game. The differences are as such:
The PC version will force the player to swing their mouse in a similar way to attacking in The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall. They will also have to press Q and P at the same time as the swing or their attack will miss. It will also take up all the RAM it possibly can without crashing the computer, meaning the fan will also be very loud. It will also be 50 GB to install.
The Xbox 360 version will force the player to play online at all times. They will also lag a lot at random times and randomly disconnect for no reason at all. It will also cost $30 to play again if they are disconnected for any reason, including the times the game does it. All achievements will be worth zero points, with the exception of the one for starting the game that gives one, and the final one that gives 999.
The Playstation 3 version will force the player to spend an hour installing data onto the hard drive and will also take 50 GB. Every action forces the player to press either R1 or L2 while attacking and only gives a second before the attack connects. If the correct button is not pressed or any button other than the one prompted is pressed, then the attack fails. The player must move the controller randomly in any direction for each attack as well. No directions are given, but if it isn't the direction the game decides on then the attack fails. There are no trophies.
I think I'm being too soft on the Xbox 360 version, but whatever.
Oh, there will also be a large amount of overpriced DLC for it. Most of it will do practically nothing, but some will allow the player to unlock completely useless characters that have negative stats.
