Plus jump ultimate stars, it almost reminds me of mugen with the amount of characters that are in the game. Death note and dragon ball z vs naruto and one piece? that is too awesome... Add that with voice chat and online play and you get an epic win.

Castlevanias- Portrait of Ruin and Dawn of Sorrow all the way.
And of course Phoenix Wright and Appolo Justice games,all of them.
Dunno if it counts as a good game but i would advice playing Rockman Star Force 1 and 2.

here's basic of the games
-Trauma Center 1+2(surgical game,puzzles, all stylus use)
-Castlevania OoE,PoR,DoS (all have to do with level up a straight 2d fights the only reason that made me buy a ds)
-new super mario ds (it's mario at it's 2d glory)
-megaman zx + zx advent (humans which can become other megaman, the later can copy bosses and use them in the game, first time in the series instead of just copying the weapons or attack.)
-was forced to buy Pokemon platinum for ds because of some stupid bet, i won't go in for details unless you asked. (nothing wrong with pokemon, it's just i left that world a long time ago.

Don't forget the other super robot taisen (super robot war) series too like SRW K, even if it that game is still in Japanese, after you get used with it, it'll be fun. The rest already mentioned by the others.
