I haven't seen a night race yet either, asa. Only nighttime I've seen was on the main screen demo.
I have some complaints on GT5 but I'll spare you all :) I am still enjoying it.
Also, I seem to be having trouble setting up my G25. I hope it's just something I'm over looking. I have no 900 degree steering and I don't know what wheel to change the button config for the G25. There seems to be minimal wheel options. I've just been using the controller until I find out what the heck to do.

So far the only night race I've done is the one in the FF Challenge on the Special Stage course. Other than that, most races are during the day only. Although I do have to say that your AI driver FREAKIN' PISSES ME OFF!! He can't pass at all and can't drive worth shit! He speeds through tight turns and oversteers and brakes on fast turns and gets passed. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Plus they are still fighting over only two lanes when they have the whole road to drive on. Sheesh!

I'm interested in trying out GT5. From what I have seen, isn't there a track that looks just like the Wangan? If so, I'll definitely buy a PS3 and GT5 for that reason. *Laugh*
JK, although the Wangan-looking track looks like fun to do speed runs, I'd also like to try GT5 if they have the C-West S2000 AP1.

I had to choose between 3 cars that i wanted to buy, The lamborghini Murcielago, the REAmemiya RX-7FD3S, and the Audi R8 ´10. I went for the Audi, now i feel that i made the wrong choice, i mean the AI drives it not bad, but i think i shouldve saved up for a race car :/

My AI drivers fucking kick rump though because I nurse their asses around the course with me screaming repeatedly over the mic "decrease pace motherfucker".
You really do have to baby them otherwise they'll fuck it all up for you and rev/crash your car into an early grave. (I had to repair the engine on my Civic 97 (EK)... Boo Hoo Hoo)
I too should save up for a race car but ive bought a Skyline Nur anyway so im fucked.
One thing though put your AI racers into the French Championship, Its nearly impossible for them to lose if youve given them either the (A tuned to the max) Alpine A110 or the Hommell Berlinette. (Easy money and XP)

I know right? They drive worse than the AI driver from GT4. Hell even my 13 yr-old nephew can drive better and he's worse than me by a lot. Seriously, watching the way they drive just pisses you off so much. They'll make a move and try to pass only to slow down at the last second and fall behind. I actually cheat a bit and give them faster cars just so they can win (i.e. Challenger for Sunday Cup). Jesus, what was PD thinking?

You know what's annoying? When the car you're looking for never appears on the shop. I been needing a classic Japanese car and I've yet to see one after one week. This game is surely playing some kind of trick on me.

I still cant believe I wasted 24000 CR when I started the game by buying a VW Beetle Race Car from the used car dealership.

Well i found myself a Trueno in White with black hood i just had to buy that xD. And yes i also want to buy the cars from ID, but just when i have the money to^^

Well I'm level 20 now and so far there have been only TWO night races if I recall correctly; the one in the FF CHallenge and one in the Professional league under the Championship series, Special Stage Route 5. The SSR 5 track has changed a lot and it's so dark I had to use high-beams just to see the track and the turns. I had to re-learn the layout since it's just so different than before.
On a side note how far is everybody? Like I said I'm lv 20, have 2 million in the bank, and 110+ cars. What about you guys?

Stay as close to the bollards as possible eventually luck will get you through.
That bump on the topside as you enter the turns probably fucking you up too so stay mid/high as you enter the turn (Keep you foot to the floor though cause you need that speed for the gold) Then like he says keep your steering steady! (Dont tap the left stick as you steer equal pressure and slight adjustments will get you through.
Its annoying but just keep at it. (Also if you know your not gonna get the gold pause and restart cause it takes an age to setup again)

That is the part in the nascar races im stuck at well, the inside challenge was no problem but im always either too close to the hats or i hit the wall slightley. I dropped that naxcar stuff for now and try to level my B-spec team a little ( and hope when they reach 20+ that thei will FINALLY get some brain as well...)
