Gonna be buying GW2 this weekend. Is there any tips I should know from you guys who have played a good amount? The trading post? Crafting?
Anything that will make my experience even better.
Classes im interested in is elementalist, warrior, and or guardian. Any builds will be cool

You don't need to rush to 80 that much.

I know most of the guys posting in this thread are playing on the US servers but just for information purposes I'm playing on Underworld (EU).

I would say to make sure to use the "Deposit All Collectables" option in your Inventory window. It puts all your crafting materials into your bank regardless of where you are. You can retrieve them back whenever you are at a bank or crafting table. I played for awhile without knowledge of this and ended up pointlessly sacrificing alot of items in result.

My mesmer is getting pretty unnnnf.




Tips: 100% the map your current story quest is in.

Here's some tips to everyone who's new to the game and want to level up fast:
-Explore the map (don't have to 100% it if you don't want to)
-Always carry harvesting/wood logging/mining tools
-Do renown hearts/dynamic events, especially if they overlap each other
-Don't stay for the entire duration of certain dynamic events, often you just have to kill a couple of things and you'd get gold on it
-Play with friends or follow zerg rushes
