I just have a question. Now that Guild Wars 2 is out, Will Guild Wars 1 bee free to play or remains unchanged?

I don't know about that, don't they still have a gw beyond installment for elona set to come out yet?

Absolutely new player, Trying out mesmer (Its okay) Probably in a week or two I'll have more time to play but as of now, I'm very very lost in the world of GW2 since there isn't actually an instruction manual..... They kinda just dump you into the world...

Still don't know how to use the trading post effectively and I have no idea what crafting is in this game and how can I profit from it.

I was the same way, don't worry about it. Its simple and fun.

Crafting? Profit? Ha!
Crafting is just a moneysink that allows you to level up fast without actually having to do quests or explore the world.

Orichalcum fetches the best price on TP. They show up randomly in the zones where mithril can be found. Dungeons are pretty much the best way to get gold. It's like ~20 silver a run.

Depending on what you craft you can make a pretty penny (gold).
