Halo 3: ODST

Well we have all heard of it from awhile ago. It's coming out 2 months before Left 4 Dead 2. Plenty of time to play till you are bored outta your mind. If you watched the E3 footage (which I hope you have) this game seems pretty solid. Various tools to make up for the Spartans which didn't require such things cause they go in and destroy everything. The "Collector's Edition" may be the first one I will not purchase. 60 dollars for the game and 40 dollars for the controller which is not too much of a damn deal (if you couldn't do math that's 100 dollars for this collectors edition). In fact it's a combo pack not a Collector's Edition. Anyways who else is waiting for this Title? I would like to play it but I'm not as excited as I was for Halo 2 or 3.

I must also say this. I'm gonna have to decide between food or video games this Fall. Jesus so many games... so little money... and my priorities are fucked up.

I'm not a huge fan of halo, but I really like the game and its storylines. So I checked out a trailer and some E3 footage for the Halo3: ODST game and it looked pretty sweet. I don't hear these things but thanks to you guys and my friends for telling me about this new stuff coming out I know what to buy when they do lol. Anyways yeah I'm definitely gonna have to buy this game, we finally get to see what its like to play as one of the regular soldiers and not just the super-powered spartans. Though that Halo: Reach game about the spartans seemed like it might be cool as well, I'll have to check that out.

Edit: You should probably just buy the games lol I don't know if its just me, but I could play a game for hours and not notice that I skipped a meal.

I'm a pretty big fan of Halo, but I'm not entirely convinced by this yet, however the Mythic map packs are very interesting. I feel sorry for all of the people who paid so much money for that when they could have just waited a few extra months for this game to come out with all of the Mythic map packs already included.

I didn't think they'd be able to produce another Halo game so soon.

Unfortunately they stopped importing the Halo series to the computer (don't own a Xbox), so I won't be able to play this.

Anyone actually read "The Fall of Reach", upon which I assume it's based? Not a bad book imo. Anyway, this comes out right near my birthday, so I'll more than likely treat myself.

I haven't been to keen on all the games lately, but this is one game that I'll probably get.

Yes i saw that but i do not like halo ,so i thing i will stick with Gears of was 2 but i hate that games lag.

Wait the mythic map packs are gonna come with the game as well? If your telling me the truth then its a good thing I didn't buy them yet lol.

So far I've only read Contact Harvest and Ghost of Onyx but Fall of Reach is high on my list of books I need to read ( though i've read most about what happend in it on the internetz )

This is one of the games I'm most eager of getting my hands on ( the others being Prototype, L4D 2 and Starcraft 2 ) and hopefully I'll have both the money and time to buy it as soon as it is being released.

How can you miss the first installment in the Halo novel series and read the other two? Strikes me as rather odd. In order of publishment date:

Bungie granted a wish I had since HALO:CE first came out XD

I always wanted to play as marines but I don't mind playing as ODSTs, they're badasses!

And for people that isn't sure, Reach is originally an Human world that they colonized and then later lost it to Covenant, It was one of bestest military world something they had.

Not so best that they lost it to the Covenant.

Anyway, im exited about ODST, cos of the new gameplay firefight, its gotta be like horde from Gears2 with wave after wave of enemies coming after you and you killin them.

bout the campaign itself, i heard its gotta be short but i think there is going to be plenty of action and intrique what i heard. You finding you squadin the ruins of New Mombasa after what happen in Halo 2.

Sadly, im not gettin the limited editionand im not gettin to play as Sgt. johnsan. OMG, i want to play him so bad.

Well, for a world with 20 MAC guns and 100+ UNSC ships against 300+ Covenant ships and a Covenant flagship, they held off pretty well until the groundside fusion reactors for the MAC guns were disable and another 36 Covenant ships jumped in from slipspace. Not much that you can do with those odds, not against guided plasma torpedoes at least. No other planet even have MAC guns except Earth.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to pre-order. The bonuses are nice, but not anything special to the point of wasting another $10 on. There are plenty of DLCs that I'd rather download instead.
