I thought I was sick of Halo... turns out I was just sick of master cheif and obsessive compulsive Players who seem to have bullets that hurt (mine don't its been tested on the back of someones head before the 2 swings of a rifle killed me before a full clip of ammo didn't kill him....)

I'm fighting the temptation to go on youtube and find a video of Highway just so I know what we're all about to get in to. I imagine its something like Annual, long run through a set path, shit exploding every which way. Hopefully there is some sort of vehicle to steal.

Alright finally went over to my local game store and preordered it, unfortunally I don't think they'll include ''Sgt Johnson'' ( I call blasphemy )
Even worse though is that I got a hell of a long school day on tuesday aswell so I'll only be able to go to the store and get it after that. So no one day playthrough for me.

Pretty damn awesome game, Firefight is deffinitly my fav gametype of any game. The campaign is really well set up, and the engineers add a whole new level of difficulty to the game.

The game was pretty fun. I was hoping they would try to make the game squad based like Rainbow six (at least on the daytime missions).
Firefight is tons of fun.
Finding all 30 audio files got rough towards the end. Just remember Virgil(the AI) will try to get your attention with detour signs and street lights when you are close to one. As for the last file highlight if you want its location:
If you haven't paid for any of the halo 3 maps the multiplayer disc for ODST has them all so save your MS points.
Overall its a fun game if a bit short (depending on the difficulty you choose), but if you're like me and like to do the occasional achievements you'll hardly notice.

Hmmmm...well that wasn't quite as long as I was hoping but I didn't find all the audio files and I was only playing on normal. Well playing co-op with my gf should at least last a while as she's not very good at FPS's and I can find all the audio files then. Also will be nice to be able to fully take advantage of the Mongooses.

My friend has it and i'll be playing it all afternoon tomorrow.
He says it's absolutely awesome and as a true Halo player i am very interested in what the experience is going to be like, especially firefight. Holding the ground with 3 other players ina an epic struggle for survival? *grin* Almost beats a new Tora Dora magnitude manga :)

Edit: I played it today, and though my day ended with a fckng blast of irritation the game itself was AWESOME. It's just as a feared though, a rapped through storyline, no real depth at all. And tbh the free roaming isn't worth alot either.
But the story of your team mates, their personality's, the amazingly well adapted ammo system and the subleme animation more than make up for it.
Well done Bungie, you scored yourself another one.

I've followed this game well and I've never heard of an ODST Limited Edition. Generally they talk about the differences and why the super awesome version is super awesome quite a bit, but there has been none of that talk this time. I'd say any shops you talked to didn't know whether there was one or not.
