Halo CE Anniversery Edition

I am curious now. with teh updated looks in teh upcoming Halo CE anniversery, what will teh flood look like now? I bet they will be horrorfying in appearence.

Oh god, I hope so. That's one of the reasons why I want Halo anniversary. To see the Flood in all it's horrific HD glory. Sadly, the Flood won't have much of an impact on any of the players nowadays as just about everybody who's heard of Halo is most likely aware of the Flood as well, taking away all of the initial shock that the players of the original CE had when first encountering them. Hell, me and my brother were playing that level on coop and all we did was hide in a hole in the wall to chokepoint them out of fear. I was genuinely afraid of the Flood at that point in time. But now that the shock and mystery behind the Flood has been severly diminished over the years of exposure, one of the more frightening moments in video game history has now become horribly tame.

If they are remaking the 1st halo does that mean they will remake the 2nd as well?

I would highly doubt it. Halo 2 wasn't as well-received as CE, nor does it carry the same nostalgia that it's predecessor possesses.

I enjoyed getting to play as an elite though I don't really remember too much about it.

I think if they made a Halo version of Star wars: Battle Front(I'm not sure what kind of game you would call it) that would be awesome.

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing an Enemy Teritory version of Halo. But that would require a team-up with 343/bungie and splash damage/id.

God, I remember when my brother and I were playing on coop. Man, when the flood broke through the doors and were on your ass, I was flipping out(I was 8 at the time) and was brother was yelling what the f*** is this s***. ah, good times.

One thing that I'm hoping for the upcoming halo 4 is that they'll give it the same elements as Halo 1 had before they lost it in Halo 2 onward. as any Halo CE fan remembers, it all wasn't just about the combat, but they left you dumbstruck and amazed at the scenery of the forerunner ruins and the covenant ships. I thought this was a big part of the game.

Oh if this means i get to play with Assault rifle having 64 bullet magazine once again. I am all for it <3

They cut it in half resulting into 32 round magazine for halo 2,3,reach.

i think its going to be great with multiplayer

Just checked on youtube. Little tough to see, but in full screen, the AR has only 60 rounds per mag.

I would love to be able to play with friends on co-op campaign. >.> getting my ass wooped on the lv where you board the covenant ship at night, on legendary. where you have to fight teh enemies that comes down the grav lift before you can use it is where I am getting stomped at.

just found out if you don't get the anniversery edition. you will be able to play the maps that comes on it via reach in a download or soemthing. not real sure since I am having trouble finding the site that spoke bout it

This shit better get ported, loved Halo Custom Edition when it first came out.

TBH, I'm half looking forward to it.. half because it's new, will actually work on the 360 without frame lag, and also because it has bonus stuff.. the half i don't look forward to, is the same old halo 1 experience.. :|
