What kind of game is it anyway?

Crime Mystery, you play the role of four different people as they try to solve the murders of the Origami killer. Gameplay consists largely of walking around to find clues intermixed with timed button pushing, for both action scenes as well as simple things like brushing your teeth. Played this game a bit too fast, think I'm already in one of the last scenes, but it was a good ride. Will definitely play it again to see if I can't undo some of the dumber decisions I made.

Finished one play-through. Got a relatively good ending but I hope it's not the best. Like tsuyoshiro, I want to play through again making different decisions. This game really dumps some decisions on you that you don't really have time to consider, you just gotta do it. Since you can't just save in a particular slot and branch off your game on big decisions, you have to face your consequences like a man.

First, I'll like to say that this game sorta reminds of Shenmue in a way. It was an interesting game and had fun in it.

Overall, this a game I am going to replay again to see the other endings. I am also curious to see what kind of DLC would come for this game.

That was exactly my ending. I watched someone finish the game on JustinTV and his ending sequence was very different, and a friend of mine got a drastically different ending but I'm sure it was a very bad one.

The idea and storyline look good, but as far as I can tell the gameplay itself is a bitch and a half.

Well, there are three levels of difficulty if pushing buttons is complicated for you =P Of course, if you do chose to play on easy, what's the point? Might as well wait for Heavy Rain, the movie.

Gameplay wise, the hardest thing to do, is walk.

Once you master walking, there's no stopping you.

Well, not so much difficult as annoying.

I've only played through the demo and small various parts of this game since I sadly do not own a PS3. Form what I've heard, seen and played, this game is really one of a kind. The controls are easy to learn, runs smoothly(Even if they can be a bit cranky sometimes). The story is nice and the graphics and style really makes it work.
I played it with my friend a few days ago, taking turns on playing until I decided just to watch. It's like watching a movie, and I love it.
There is only one major fault in this game really, and that would be the bad VA's. Would this game not be so cinematic and so well made in other aspects I wouldn't had cared but it really drags down the potential of the game.

this a big fault for a game that focuses on story, but perhaps im a bit hasty maybe they didnt have enough budget or what not

Were you guys playing it in English or French?

I didn't have a problem with the voice acting. I actually thought it was good. The only thing that bugged me was the way some characters pronounced origami.

The voice acting bothered you? Hm...if anything, I guess Lauren had kind of a weird accent that didn't really fit her, elsewise I can't really complain about it. I'm used to playing dubbed video games, so I have a high threshold when it comes to that. No, my only complaint is that it's short. 60 scenes, and they all went by so fast. I'm pretty sure I got the best ending on the first try, so maybe it should have been a bit harder.

Well, I believe the devs and actors are French, so that would be the native language.
