Heavy Rain

I felt very attached to the characters and immersed in this world. And that is something only great games can do. To bring you in to it's level, it's atmosphere and render your own life null. Amazing game.

I'm just waiting for the DLC to start a-coming.
Also, as someone else mentioned before, hearing them pronounce Origami was like listening to nails on a chalkboard. I switched to French my 2nd playthrough... but then I missed the hilarious accent of Nahman Jayden.

Anyone have any idea when the DLC (Besides the taxidermist) is coming out? I haven't really been paying attention.

This game might have been a better movie than a game as it is now. It has a very slow pacing which is not for excitable people who love getting into action. It took me an hour before finally arriving to the introduction of the main plot and another hour before getting into action which lasted about 15 minutes.
As for game play I usually believe that Quick Time Events are a no- no unless it's the core gameplay mechanic of a game but in Heavy Rain's case it's the core, the crust, the mountains, the oceans, the skies and the entire fucking planet. Every move you make requires buttons to be pressed that flash on the screen and honestly this feature is really immersive.
In the end I think Heavy Rain's slow start lost some points for it but it really gets good after some hours. It's a game I wouldn't play twice, because I'm sure I'd faint from exhaustion first if I did, but this is a game that's really worth a try.
