Waiting sucks, I just got through Act 1 revolving mostly around Emi and now I have to wait for the full version T_T.

Anyway, I'm playing it now. I really like the style of it and I have to say, interface, transitions and other design elements are way better than pretty much any Japanese VN I've played, apart from FS/N. There are some really nice touches, like when the main character gets mixed up between two girls and the wrong name gets crossed out (you'll know what I mean if you've played it). The music is really good, too.
Apparently a VN called Narcissu is one of the things that the writer is influenced by. You can download the English version here. A translation of the sequel is also being worked on here. The other influence is Yume Miru Kusuri, which I'm sure more people have played than Narcissu since (a) it's had an official US release and (b) it's got hentai scenes.

That said, you can't be the only person with Vista who's tried to play this and I no one else in this thread has said it won't work for them, so it might well be some other problem. The thing is, I can't imagine what wouldn't work since it's such a basic program.

i think /b/ has do to with this har har but ontopic im loving it, havent played that many but this is already difrent to most Vnovels, and im starting to love lilly and hanako, though the crowd sound effects buggs me somehow

Imageshack always does that. If you post an Imageshack-hosted image on certain sites - basically any porn site they're aware of - you just get that annoying yellow frog image.

I too have played the demo to 100% and I'm excited for the full version's release. Knowing it was something spawned from 4chan, i was a bit worried at first, but its actually really, REALLY good and its got some really good laughs in it.
