Im looking forward to dominion mode. Looks like its going to be fun. I doubt the bitching would be any worse then usual, although team play will be more important then traditional lol gameplay.

Curious question, does anybody on here have a sort of "play preference" when deciding what champion to use?
I like to try new people all the time, but when it comes to an ass whooping that must be delivered, I always seem to go with Nasus. And on the occasion, Rainbow blonde Lux.

Just started fri. Got ashe as main looking for any good items to get for her. I started to go for the Emblem of Valor to build the Stark's fervor first for atk speed plus life steal, then I go for Manamune. By that point my manna/health regen and life steal pretty much keeps me from running outas long as I don't do anything stupid. Tiamat is usaully my 3rd for the splash plus slow down. This a good stratagy or should I be looking elsewere.

Also I seem to be loading slowly in the game from lobby my comp is running fine no slowdown can anyone point me to a fix

Ashe is a carry. As such, it's very important that you can deliver epic amounts of damage very fast. This overshadows even the need of survivability items (in my opinion at least). The important thing is to farm minions as much as possible early in the game (try to have at least more than 100 by the 20th minute)
The usual build for Ashe is Doran's Blade, Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer.
After that I usually either build a Banshee's Veil for some survivability (that, QSS OR Thornmail are the only survivability items you should get on carries) or a Bloodthirster, another PD and another Bloodthirster.
Always build damage items first on carries (except in certain, very rare situations where attack speed is more important) because AD>>>AS. Also, because you build attack damage first your attack speed is usually a bit lacking. That's why always buy Berserker's Greaves on this type of carries.
Also, in early game, if you're getting harassed a lot or if your creep farm is going badly you can stack up to 3 Doran's Blades which you can sell later in the game when you need room for better items.

Other than that, just stick in the back so you don't get focused and shoot people. Also, try to use your arrow in a way that disables their biggest threat. Meaning, don't shoot it at their tank

Don't know what you could do about that waiting time. Probably not much that can be done. You can try shutting off some programs, even closing the client for LoL once you're in game.



Ass whooping eh? Akali. I whoop any champion on any lane with Akali. I'm not much of a bragger but whoever gets me on their lane when I'm playing her is not going to be very useful later in the game. Other than that, I recently started playing carries a lot. Just bought Vayne too.

be flexible with your builds, for example, if you're really getting dominated early game, buying doran's blades isn't a bad investment as they give you the most stats per gold at that level

I get a rush when playing carries and supports I can't get anywhere else. Mages are lame and tanks are boring.

I love my supports. Sona and Janna are just so much fun. Leona is actually very fun to play for a tank.

Though just picked up Irelia (after grinding IP for a week) have to say she is a blast.

Good times. First and only champion up to date with which I have a penta kill. Just can not get it on Akali ;_; I have more than 15 quadra kills with Akali but no penta.

Play too many supports or sustained DPS. Plenty of quadra's but not any penta's.

Always try to CC their tanks just long enough to give your melee carries the time to dash in and start wacking away their ranged carries/mages. It's kinda like football, really. And remember, CC their tanks, not to focus them. Also, your aim should always be to have at least 100CS by 20min.

The goal of a tank is to initiate while protecting his squishies. A melee carry is to be able to dive in and kill the squishies. A ranged carry is to generally do damage and also be able to kill their tank. A mage/support provides cover, nukes, and general harass.
