Actually I needed to block away the critical strike that Try had. In the middle of the game he gained a lot of critical strike and started raping everybody so I bought that armour and raped him back.

Frozen Heart gives 99 armor (1 less than thornmail)
and reduces enemy attack speed by 20%
and gives like 20% Cool down reduction
AND 500 mana

Thornmail is actually pretty shitty. Randuin's or Frozen are always better.

I just got back from a match and all what I could say is Damn~~~~ If game go that far with tryn it's pretty over. Their late game much better. Also see that ali is ad and run revive tele late game make it 6v5 game changer. Like they say above FH very good better than thorn.
When I see singed with thornmail makes me sad they missing out on the health FH give.

I've mained her since the beta, i own all of her skins and i have a 1800 elo who often compliments on my Annie play (calls me shit if i use anyone else) and agrees in the skill order. Also i don't know what nerf you are talking about, i have a bad memory but the last time they changed her they BUFFED her by alot.

Because its the same amount of "easy" or "hard" between level 1-4,just the difference is damage, and if you're half decent at last hitting it shouldn't matter.
I am becoming incredibly frustrated with the point of what is considered common sense on a good Annie, you are trying to argue against and give out bad advice.
Annie's joke about "pentapentapenta" is because she has such insane AoE damage/Stuns.
If you max Q over W you are taking that away untill levels 12+
You can't really expect to hit a max range W all the time but a max range Q will always hit.
They took away a chunk of her base damage when they buffed her. She used to be an OHKO champion when she hit 6 (though she pretty much still it) then switch over to being a stunbot because her scaling was shit.
You don't max spells at lvl 1-4. You can at most level one 2 times... and I prefer to take 2 levels of Q. I don't have to wait till the creep's at 70hp to kill it then. A lot less frustrating, meaning you can focus on your lanemate better. There is no "common sense" for any champion anyway. People consider it common sense to start with a Hextech Revolver on Akali yet in my opinion it's the inferior option. I always start building towards a Rylai's first.

I also put 2 levels into Q by level 3, the guide even says that.
But fully maxing Q over W is foolish

It's a waste of time to go 5v1
Need I say more? I wanted to go gank a way overextended Nocturne before starting baron. Nobody but me came so he got away. We lost the next teamfight because they engaged 4v4 with Noct's ult still up and me still walking back from top. Fiddle was even smart enough to ask me why I didn't go kill him and added, that I should be able to kill anyone if I'm playing Akali.
Needless to say, we lost the game too.
