League of Legends is babbys first competitive game.

Ahri's passive is a hell of a lot more useful than most people figured. 35% spell vamp is nothing to sneeze at when you can hit an entire minion wave at once, helps you with sustaining yourself early game.

She is also turret diving made easy. Some guy has low life and is hugging a tower? Spirit Rush in, kill him, and then SR right on back out. I've managed to go in and kill them before the tower could shoot me. You can even use it to go past terrain like flash does. Useful for getting away, or chasing some fools down.

All in all, she's fun as hell.

She is also a little OP imo. Mana costs are bound to be increased.

Nah, just gotta stun/slow her. Force her to use either flash or her ultimate to escape, then keep the pressure on until she screws up again. She is pretty strong, but nothing game breaking.

Anyway. Starting winning a lot more in ranked now that I duo queue with someone decent. Vayne and karthus seem to be working nicely so far for me.

Just lost an AI game cause it was 2v5. 10 minutes in, 3 people leave.

Played her some more. Guess you're right.
Although I found myself unable to play her as an assassin (like Akali or smth...).
For now I'm building her in a weird way, which seems to work for now: RoA-Boots (she's slow as balls...)-Will of the Ancients-Whatever

I find that the spell-vamp with this grants her great sustain throughout the game. If you can get Q through their team+some minions WITH the passive active, you can actually tank for a few seconds (since they try and target you anyway).

Also, I'm enjoying the Dynasty skin more than the other one. It has a different dance as well (guess some traditional oriental dance, just a guess, I have real knowledge on these things).

Grabbing that Zhonya's Hourglass is nice too since you usually get focused so hard. My current build is Doran's Ring, Boots, RoA, Sorcs, Rabadon's, Zhonya's, Void Staff, then sell ring for Sheen into Lich Bane.
I'll try getting the WotA in my next game and see how it goes.

I may have to get that skin then.

The build I use for her, which has worked quite well thus far;

Rod of Ages, Sorcerers Shoes, Will of Ancients, Void Staff, Rylai's Crystal Scepter, and Rabadon's Deathcap.

Gives me a decent amount of life, 2950 if I recall, mana is not a problem, and I can hurt some people badly if given the opportunity. Tack on that spell vamp, and all is right in the world.

I go for more of an Akali start myself. Rylai, Revolver, Rabadon... shit kind of sucks though. Her global taunt is even worse than Teemo's. We had an Ahri on each side and both our teams were fighting each other in mid. As soon as we showed up both teams freaking dopped everything and focused us like no tomorrow. Really, they completely ignored each other till we were dead and they spent all their disables on us >_> We didn't even have any real items or dealt much damage. At the end of the game we both had the most damage taken on our sides despite showing up late or not at all for almost every team fight >_>

Minus the global taunt, she's really really fun to play. I love her ult and the rest of her skill set is really fun to play with too. Seeing the base damage and ratios you really don't think she'd deal the kind of damage she does, though I'd still buff them up just a little bit if she continues to be focused like this in the future...

The best time is where I do the carrying with my main monkey. Soon or later I'll ahri will be my main.

also, I made a weird build with wukong at this match. I have no much to say about it. Since I didn't start with boots. Frozen mallet just to give me attack damage and slow the opponent. Just wanted to buy Infinity edge just for the lolz, seems it worked fine. The some health items and atma's impale. So it's good to make Wukong off-tank, kinda fun. I hope I'll get enough IP to buy ahri soon.

IMO, you're supposed to build Wukong off-tank. Always.

On a completely separate note, I'll try some ranked games with Ahri today and see how it goes.

Normal game was AP shaco :P was just trying him out. My ranked stats with him are amazing, I don't wanna get a crappy team and lose with him now lool.

Actually the game before this one I was jungle rammus and the other team had a jungle twitch and their twitch went 8-0 because all of my teammates would overextend without pink wards/oracles and then blame me for not saving them when im across the map ganking a different lane.

Yeah LoL players have the best logic lulz.

Some other people makes him DPS with critical hit items. Sooooooo that's why I said it was fun.
