So, it's been quite some time since my last upload and that is mostly due to my laziness. So to celebrate the Little Busters translation coming back to life I give you so. I decided since this is the first thread I have done in quite a while I will do something special for Fakku and go out of my way and make it the best thread I can. As I am sure you've guessed as the title says this game is Little busters both the Eroge and normal one. Now in case you're wondering why it is some parts are missing that is simple. These games are huge. Instead of waiting till tomorrow to post this I decided to give you guys a head start. The none Eroge one is here to be downloaded, but the Eroge version is going to take some time and will be up later tonight or tomorrow. I may add more pics and customize more, but there's that whole laziness thing remember. I plan on another panel so more than likely it will come to fruition. Now, about the patch, I need to explain a bit. I was always under the impression that the patch would work with the EX, so Eroge, version of the game and I know that people have said it does indeed, but I can't get it to work no matter what I try. It works fine with the none Eroge one, but it can't find the directory for the EX version. There's not much difference between the two except for the obvious smex and a bit more fan service. If anyone finds out what the problem is or gets it working be sure to let me know. Note that if you do get the patch to work with the EX version I have heard that there are errors with it that aren't in the normal version. So if you don't like the errors and can deal with no smex, just use the normal version. They say the patch is 50% of the game and considering this game is longer than Utawarerumono, that's still plenty of reading. For more information on the translation and patch, make sure to visit the translation website. Now, onto the crack. It's a bit more tricky then some of you might be use to. You copy both files into the directory, then use the NoCDPatch Alpha and when you get a prompt with the files that are in the directory, click the reallive.exe. The game will then start. I hope you enjoy the game. I feel that this gem of a game is under appreciated on the forums, here's hoping this will fix that. Little Busters!' story revolves around the main protagonist Riki Naoe, a young male high school student. When Riki was a child, his parents died, leaving him hopeless and depressed. A group of three young boys and one girl his age saved him who referred to themselves as the Little Busters, a group dedicated to fighting evil and preserving justice. The leader of the group was Kyousuke Natsume who had a younger sister named Rin. The other two members were Masato Inohara and Kengo Miyazawa, who were rivals despite being friends. They took Riki out and played together with him during his time of need, making him the fifth Little Busters member. In time, Riki enjoyed playing with them, and his grief over his parents gradually faded away. When the story begins, Riki and his friends are seemingly in their second year of high school, except for Kyousuke who is in his third year. They still hang out together, and enjoy their school life. Hi, I went about installing the game, english patch, and the NODVDpatch, and when I try to start the game, it goes in full screen mode with the black screen, shows the dialog box, then suddenly freezes after typing one "."

I've really been waiting to play this VN and its so close! Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? I have all the regional settings set and my computer meets the requirements to run the game, so I'm really stuck here.

hi guys, when I try to run the NoCD Alpha with Reallive.exe, it gives me a message with [gameexe.ini] then japanese stuff, and then the screen just turns black for infinity, and then when I exit it gives me an error message in Japanese. Any help? I mounted the LB.iso with Daemon tools, my regional settings are japanese, im running Windows XP.

Let's see... First off, make sure you're using the NoCD Alpha thing with the non-EX version. Also, make sure you're not using the EXtacy NODVD patch with the non-EXtacy version.
I think the error message when you close it is normal...

Yeah, I know I'm using the nonCD Alpha for the non EX one. I never downloaded the EXtacy NODVD patch, I only downloaded the files from the non eroge version.

Oh, and another thing. When I run the english patch, and it tells me to select an installation directory, I select the folder where i extracted the files and click ok, but a message keeps popping up saying "Please select the installation directory of Little Busters!" even though I already selected it.

EDIT: Just rebooted my computer, and ran it again, it works fine now, haha. Sorry for the trouble!

hmm.. it seems that the patch can't recognize the place where i installed the excstacy part, any way to fix this?

umm... i finally suceeded in doing this by changing my folder name, is this way correct? or will i found some trouble later on?

Nope, everything should be fine. If you want to know the reason why, it's because the patch appends a "\ãƒªãƒˆãƒ«ãƒã‚¹ã‚¿ãƒ¼ã‚ºï¼" to the end of the selected directory. You could have just deleted that "\ãƒªãƒˆãƒ«ãƒã‚¹ã‚¿ãƒ¼ã‚ºï¼", but your way works too.

Based on my experience, it's great. Really, even without eroge version, this one are a good choice to read. Just mind you one thing : Play the Non-Ero for now, cus those damn bug still existed in LB :EX. :(

i got a problem, my rin always loses to the sasasegawa sasami's goons is this a bug or it is meant to happen?( i'm playing the EX one btw)

and can someone tell me what bugs are there in the EX version?

Don't play the ex version with the patch. It is completely bugged. If you read the previous posts, you would know that.

1. Baseball practices don't work properly (only Rin shows up, other members missing).
2. Combat is messed up for Rin in afterdark fights.
3. Storyline is messed up. It will skip some scenes as well as some choice selection area. It is impossible to follow the walkthrough and get the desired results in EX version.

The biggest issue is number 3. 1 and 2 you can skip completely. I have played it day by day with and without the patch and it is different.

I just downloaded the non-eroge version.I did apply the patch and get the game to work properly.BUT in order to play the game,i need to always mount the ISO.Is my step correct?or the patch is actually to allow me to play the game without mounting?Or is there any other patch that can allow me to play the game without mounting?

you've just finished rin's route phase 1. to enter phase 2 you have to play her route again after finishing the other (kurugaya, mio, haruka, komari, and kud) route.
