Little Busters (English)

So, it's been quite some time since my last upload and that is mostly due to my laziness. So to celebrate the Little Busters translation coming back to life I give you so. I decided since this is the first thread I have done in quite a while I will do something special for Fakku and go out of my way and make it the best thread I can. As I am sure you've guessed as the title says this game is Little busters both the Eroge and normal one. Now in case you're wondering why it is some parts are missing that is simple. These games are huge. Instead of waiting till tomorrow to post this I decided to give you guys a head start. The none Eroge one is here to be downloaded, but the Eroge version is going to take some time and will be up later tonight or tomorrow. I may add more pics and customize more, but there's that whole laziness thing remember. I plan on another panel so more than likely it will come to fruition. Now, about the patch, I need to explain a bit. I was always under the impression that the patch would work with the EX, so Eroge, version of the game and I know that people have said it does indeed, but I can't get it to work no matter what I try. It works fine with the none Eroge one, but it can't find the directory for the EX version. There's not much difference between the two except for the obvious smex and a bit more fan service. If anyone finds out what the problem is or gets it working be sure to let me know. Note that if you do get the patch to work with the EX version I have heard that there are errors with it that aren't in the normal version. So if you don't like the errors and can deal with no smex, just use the normal version. They say the patch is 50% of the game and considering this game is longer than Utawarerumono, that's still plenty of reading. For more information on the translation and patch, make sure to visit the translation website. Now, onto the crack. It's a bit more tricky then some of you might be use to. You copy both files into the directory, then use the NoCDPatch Alpha and when you get a prompt with the files that are in the directory, click the reallive.exe. The game will then start. I hope you enjoy the game. I feel that this gem of a game is under appreciated on the forums, here's hoping this will fix that. Little Busters!' story revolves around the main protagonist Riki Naoe, a young male high school student. When Riki was a child, his parents died, leaving him hopeless and depressed. A group of three young boys and one girl his age saved him who referred to themselves as the Little Busters, a group dedicated to fighting evil and preserving justice. The leader of the group was Kyousuke Natsume who had a younger sister named Rin. The other two members were Masato Inohara and Kengo Miyazawa, who were rivals despite being friends. They took Riki out and played together with him during his time of need, making him the fifth Little Busters member. In time, Riki enjoyed playing with them, and his grief over his parents gradually faded away. When the story begins, Riki and his friends are seemingly in their second year of high school, except for Kyousuke who is in his third year. They still hang out together, and enjoy their school life. Just match the choices with the Walktrough, the one I recommended is better since it's systematical and "linear". and I finished my "play" with that one.

I don't know if there's a NODVD patch. just check hongfire.

Future patches will likely have separate versions for EX and ME (memorial box edition) released simultaneously (barring any technical setbacks), so you may play them on your version of choice if you have previously acquired another release of the game. However the new content in EX/ME will be untranslated, so if your goal is to play the expanded routes, we strongly advise to wait until the ME routes have been specifically translated later.

After finishing the original LB, we will move onto the Memorial Box edition (provided that the edition status doesn't again change by then (note that the Memorial Box is a limited edition, so it's possible there will be a standalone release of the same - or again altered - LB version later) - in which case we hopefully will eventually just add yet another version to the list of compatible releases). A patch for the ME should translate the entire EX as well, apart from the obvious.

I finally got around to install the game (Non Eroge Version) and had no real problem with the patch or anything, but I got one lesser problem. The text are quite messed up.

As you can see it is readable but really, really annoying. Is there any way to fix this? any special font that works? I've tried a few different ones but has yet to find one that works properly.

EDIT: Oh, I just found out the ending I got was the right one. Damn, this just makes me more impatient for the full translation >.< !!!

Irrelevant to the above topic:
The patch you uploaded didn't contain the SEEN.txt to translate the intro lines before a battle and the commands during the baseball competition.(at least the one I played) Here are the links (not mine):

I'm nearly 100% sure this was intended as a bad end for a few reasons.
1)i'm using the EX version and i hadn't seen an H-scene yet. yes i know it sounds petty but what kind of main character doesn't lose his virginity in an actual route!?
2)you "fall into darkness"... theres nothing good or even neutral about that at all! also it isn't even an ending. just a small piece about how the main character had a brain hemorage is slightly convinced, but i digress. wait...theres nothing good about a brain hemorage either!
3)the famous(or infamous) "extras" section didn't show up at the end unlike 99% of visual novels(from own experience).

Although i am convinced this may be the "Rin 1 route" i refuse to think this is anything other that a misunderstood dead stop.

What's the difference between Eroge Version and Eroge Version Disk 2? Do I need to download both of them?
Is this Eroge version called Little Buster Ecstasy?

You need both disks to install the game. And yes, EX(ecstasy) = eroge version.

(seems like the patch for the non eroge version...is working..i not sure on the other scenes...but the starting part its working at least..)

EX has everything that ME(memorial edition) has + the eroge of course.

The Memorial Box has a wider choice of characters. [i'm only sure about this, it might have more]

I would say probably next year to have the memorial box version translated and to move the stuff to ecstasy
