So I recently clicked this ad on the front page and to my surprise it was a translated DMM game so I figured why not spread the the game on Fakku further. Hope it helps (credit goes to Burghin from a certain site): Spoiler:Weakest: Combine four base cards at level 1 to get two + cards. Combine those two + cards at level 1 to get a ++ card with the lowest stat cap. Why do this: If you just want to fill in that card for your collection, but don't plan to actually use it long-term. Weaker: Combine four base cards at max level to get two + cards. Combine those two + cards at level 1 to get a ++ card with a slightly higher stat cap. Why do this: Don't. You're better off combining for the + and then working on those if you're planning on only going halfway with maxing things. Stronger: Combine four base cards at level 1 to get two + cards. Combine those two + cards at max level to get a ++ card with a decently high stat cap (about 15%? lower than the strongest). Why do this: If you want to have decently strong R cards, but don't want to go insane getting all the other cards to feed them when they'll eventually be replaced by SRs or SSRs way down the line anyway. It's the difference between leveling three cards and seven cards. Strongest: Combine four base cards at max level to get two + cards. Combine those two + cards at max level to get a ++ card with the highest possible stat cap. Why do this: If you absolutely must have the strongest card possible. You'll have the highest stat cap for the one card you build towards, but keep in mind that this involves leveling seven cards to the max level for about a 15% increase in power. And then there's things in-between (like leveling the base cards to 10 before turning them into + cards that you'll max later), but this should hopefully be useful to get a better general idea of things. le FAQ (credit goes to RaVeN 777 and ShinVeritas from same site as Burghin): Spoiler: Q: What are all the stats and what do they mean? A: Player stats: Charisma: Each card has a cost to deploy. More charisma allows you to deploy stronger teams of cards. Stamina: Used for questing and therefore directly translates into experience. Force: Used for Arena (PvP) and Mega Bosses. Equipment Stats: MP: Used for special attacks of your Valkyries. You will most likely never run out of this early on... or ever. Attack: Physical attack power. Note that the higher of your attack stats determines your attack type. Magic Attack: Magical attack power. You don't need to worry about dealing 10 damage. Defence: Physical defense power. Counters Attack. Magic Defence: Magical attack power. Counters Magic Attack. Critical: % chance of scoring a critical hit. Criticals ignore defensive stats. Balance: % variance in damage. If you have 1000 Attack and 10 balance, every attack will have 900~1100 attack power. Element: Elemental affinity, followed by % modifier on attacks. (Ex. Water30 means you get a 30% boost against and take 30% less damage from Fire elementals) Valkyrie stats: Same as player's except attack element is determined by special attack element, and... Cost: Cost to deploy. MP Use: (Player does not use MP) Cost to use special attack. Initiative: % chance of using special attack every time the card acts ATK D: Damage of normal attack. SKL D: Damage of special attack. Q: How should I spend gold lottery tickets? A: Go for the Item Lottery. Cards are only useful after you evolve them to ++ form (which requires four copies of the same base card; that's difficult to do without lots of tickets or luck). Q: What are the card rarities and what's with the +s? A: The rarities are, from least to most rare, C > UC > R > SR > SSR. Every rarity except for C can evolve twice (C only evolves once) by combining it with an identical card. For example, you can evolve Elle of Lonely Fire using another Elle of Lonely Fire. This gives their rarity a + sign after it. So an Elle of Lonely Fire evolved twice will have a UC++ rarity. Q: Is evolution good? What does it do exactly? A: Yes. Evolving a card gives +5% to its base stats. If both cards used to evolve were at max level, the resulting card gets a +10% boost. For Valkyries, the second evolution also triggers that Valkyrie's H-scene. Q: Max level? A: It depends on the card's rarity. C = 30, UC = 40, R = 45, SR = 50, SSR = 60. Q: How should I spend status/bonus points? A: You get 1 bonus point in each stat for every comrade you have in-game (max 30 in your Comrade List). That being said, focus on stamina and force early on and aim for at least 50+ in each stat. A team of Rs (usually team of 3 SR++ cost 138). Stamina should be enough so between playing sessions regeneration isn't wasted. That way you'll not fall behing in terms of lvl. Other points should go in to force. Q: What's the regeneration rate of stamina/force? A: You get 1 point back per minute of each stat. You also get a full refill upon level up. Q: How should I level up my cards? (RaVeN 777's opinion) A: Don't waste your time to leveling UC cards. After a few days of playing you'll get R cards. All your cards that you're planning to use should be evolved only at max level. That way cards will have the best stats. For example Earth Girl Athena (R card from Earth Dragon Mega Boss), if evolved to ++ form using level 1 cards will have 5531 attack and 11062 skill damage. If she was evolved properly, her stats will be 8766 attack and 17533 skill damage; this is ~50% more damage. If you're not that patient, you can boost + forms to max level before evolving. That way you'll only lose only ~10% potential damage. Q: I got 2k gold from referrals, how should I spend it? (Also RaVeN 777's opinion) A: If you're not planning to spend money on the game (or only a little), the best choice would be buying storage (50 additional slots for equipment/cards for 500 gold). Another option is increasing maximum of slots in card deck/equipment (10 additional slots for 120 gold). Q: How do elements work? A: Fire > Wind > Earth > Water > Fire. > = is effective against. Q: What should I do to dominate in PvP (the Arena)? A: Good cards + good gear + good RNG (luck). Don't use elemental equipment. Defence is more important that attack because the player's defence is applied to his cards, whereas attack is applied only to the player. Don't do the rank-up battle if you have problems in your current rank; chances are you'll get demolished in the next one. Just wait for other players to catch up so you have easy wins for enhancement fodder. Q: What's the point of advancing through ranks in PvP? A: Better rewards, but force consumption and of course enemy difficulty increase with each rank. Q: How to kill Mega Bosses more efficiently? A: Use the element the boss is weak against. Some bosses are weaker against magical damage than physical damage. If you have two weapons that deal different types of damage and are relatively close in power, experiment. To change the element of your character use armor and/or left-hand equipment. Q: Where should I farm money/enhancement fodder/etc.? Just progress through the story. Later maps have more valuable equipment that you can sell and higher level/rarity cards for upgrading. Also PvP is source of money/equipment. Use Quest 1-4 (Novice Plains map 4) for enhancement fodder if you're patient enough. Q: Is there a wiki for this game? A: Yes, but it's in Japanese. There are differences between the two versions of the game. If someone makes an English one, I'd be happy to contribute. Japanese wiki For now, the only known difference is the Mega Boss drop list (but only a little). Misc Info, Tips, Tricks that I might organize at some point: 1. Check my signature for my referral link. If you sign up with it, you get 100 free gold (and I do too~). To find yours, go to your profile. You can get up to 2000 gold (20 referrals) this way. 2. You need anywhere from 5~8% damage on Mega Bosses to receive the support bonus. To be safe, aim for 10%. 3. According to the FAQ posted on the Lord of Walkure thread, you need 5% HP damage to receive support rewards from rank 8 Dragon bosses. 4. Starting from rank 8 (Dragon bosses), you have a chance of receiving the same reward as a supporter as the person who triggered the Mega Boss. 5. You get 100 free gold in the beginning for signing up. Use it on the one-time stamina jewel + gold lotto ticket package, and use that ticket on the Item Lottery. 6. Save your stamina jewels and force jewels until you have good baseline stats in stamina and force. This will help you maximize efficiency. 7. Log on daily for a log-in bonus. You lose the item that you are using as the fodder for enhancing.

For example.

If you have a level 6 Rapier.

And you are trying to raise it to level 7 by using a level 6 Axe.

If it fails, you keep the Rapier but lose the Axe.

Enhancing isn't really an issue until you get past +10 really. And if you are worried about it you can always use the enhancement crystals to raise your chances by 5%....i would save them for later though.

Mega Bosses are frustating me lately.

I am getting Rank 7~9 Mega Bosses and I cannot beat them within the time limit, not sure what I am doing wrong to be honest.

I have upgraded my equipment to +8/+9 and I have been levelling the Rare Cards I got so far. I also hae been trying to use strong Elements against Mega Bosses, but it seems it has no effect? Maybe I am missing something here?

Any advice on this? Not sure how to take on them.

Oh, yeah I do that, but I still cannot get them down. So far I only have 6 comrades and I think some people form the thread already hit the cap?

I know I have but just add random people, it's beneficial because it will also increase your force and stamina per person.

When you fight in matches, it gives you an option to request them as a comrade.

It's where I got most of mine.

Rank 8 and above Mega Bosses have 2000+ Def, so if your Atk/Mag and cards are not high enough, not even Elemental Bonus can help you. Getting powerful weapon from Gold Lottery and upgrading your cards to UC/R++ are important for dealing with them, too.

Also, for anyone who in search for elemental equipments (not weapon), here's a FAQ about it (courtesy to hentie):

Well, eventually, it's not a bad idea to drop those who don't play much since comrades are necessary for Megas anyways

Oh and I think It'll be good to fill in the drop list for Megas

Rock Birds have a tendency, for example, to drop elemental armor and weapons
Silver Slimes drop the divine series: Paladin Armor, Divine Staff, etc.
Dragons drop UCs and Rares
Evil Eyes drop high Cs and sometimes UCs
I'm sure Azelle can fill in the rest, but it's worth describing to show which ones to go after or to instead help comrades.

The main problem is, Mega Boss drop rewards in US server are slightly different than the JPN version, while my main information comes from JPN version' players. So unless they make an ENG version wiki of this, can't say much about the drops. Although, if you still want to know about certain Mega Bosses drops by general (as in, JPN based), I can tell a little. Example:

- Glimmers (Rank 9): Olga/Luca (R), Salas/Phil (UC), Blue Dragon/Suzaku/Genbu lv4 (C).
- Silver Doragon (Rank ?): Mjolnir/Artemis Wand+5 (weapon, R), elemental Book lv.10 (lv.5 for Support, UC).
- Emperor Idoneus (Rank 10): Riku (SR), gold/silver/??? bullions (equipment, ?).

Lower Rank Mega Bosses drops are just like what Sneeaky said above, more or less.

Another doubt, regarding Cards, is it worth levelling UC++ Cards? I only got 2 R Cards so far and I am investing whatever Cards I get in them since generally they have more power than the UC++ Cards.

Full-upgraded UC++ also have better stats than normal R, so unless you can breeze the battles without high-stats cards for now, better feed UC++ once or twice.

PS: I'm currently postponed feeding my UC cards since I have lots of R cards waiting to get upgraded and evolved, so maybe others can give you better advice.

I'm in the same boat as Azelle, I have alot of R's so my focus is on them UC's are on the backburner. If I get an SR though...well I'll deal with that when it comes.

For those who already have good weapon and armor and now thinking on spending Gold Lottery on card: Better wait until Event comes down since they usually introduce better cards (and equipments, perhaps) during Event.
