Marvel vs Capcom 3

So much more badass in that series.

Galactus and Taskmaster are two rumored characters on Marvel's side of the character list. However, Galactus is more likely to end up as a boss character than as a playable fighter. I'm hoping that the rumor on Taskmaster is correct because I think he'll make for a great addition to the roster.

It was already announced that no version of Megaman is in the final build of the game, but if anything, X has a really good chance of making it in as DLC later on. Just gotta wait.

Overall, even without a version of Megaman, Capcom's side of the roster is looking really good, in comparison to the previous vs. series games, where it was mostly Street Fighter characters. There's a lot of diversity, and it's overall great.

I'm hoping for Hsien-Ko right now. Come on Lei-Lei, join the cast. :3

I heard news that X from Megaman is going to be in the game.

I find that there is a high probability that Lei-Lei/Hishen-Ko will make it into MvC3. Wish that Jedah or Demetri would join the cast too.

Capcom's plan is simple. Take all the most wanted characters and make them dlc as a way to milk us of our money. The only thing I wonder is, how much RAM will be left after the game comes out?

A bit late, but I didn't notice this thread until now, but this is my most anticipated game for 2011 so far. I loved MvsC2 and will love this one. I've actually already played it on a gaming convention last November, and holy shites it was good.

Dante is as awesome to play as I hoped he would be.
Felicia was even more awesome to play than she was in the second installment, which says quite alot.
Deadpool was pretty funny as well, but I need moar time with him.
Amaterasu... was... AWESOME!
Chris was so-so, I find Jill Valentine from MvsC2 to be alot better.
I didn't really play the other characters very much, but I can say that I didn't like Dr. Doom and Morrigan. The version I played were the one before M.O.D.O.K and Wesker were announced, so we couldn't try the "complete" roster.

Now... I don't know if someone already mentioned this, but the characters that are left "on the disk" (not DLC) are said to be (mat not be true, can be fake):
Marvel: Taskmaster, Sentinel and Phoenix (Jean Grey)
Capcom: Akuma, Hsien-Ko and Haggar.
The same source also said that Mega Man X (which is my fav Mega Man) will NOT make the game, nor any other version of Mega Man. Phoenix Wright has been considered as a DLC, but probably won't come.
Again though, this source may be fake. He has been correct about several things so far, but one can never know. So don't lose hope in Mega Man!

Personally, I would like them to have almost all characters from MvsC2 back, minus some like Cable and Ice-man. Venom is a must from me though ^^. I LOVE the fact that Zero is in the game, and Wesker is yet another character that I was hoping for. I am also crossing my thumbs for Jill Valentine to be like the MvsC2 Jill, although I doubt it, considering her costume...

Oh, and forgot to mention that that guy said Galactus is the boss-character. Apparently, you're supposed to fight him, Wesker and Akuma as the end-boss. That last part sounds screwed over to me =S

Oh, one last add xD as I've already played the game several times, I already know my main team, although it might change when I get to try the new(er) characters... anyway, here was my team on the convention, in order: Felicia, Amaterasu and Dante.

Chances are it'll be just Galactus alone. Typical vs. series gigantic boss at the end routine.

I'm hoping for it to turn out that way. I don't like the idea of a normal fight as a boss-fight.

Yeah, sure... but Cable is just way too cheap! His spamming in MvsC2 drove me mad!

please enlighten me to some actually memorable ,and bad ass female marvel characters that AREN'T from X-Men ._.

I met one during the convention. He played only keep-away characters, namely Chris, Deadpool and Morrigan. I beat him to a pulp using only Dante. Worth a mention is that he beat everyone that played against him before me =P

Which is exactly his point. He probably agrees with me when I say that MvsC2 had WAY too many X-Men characters...

I think we need more villains from Capcom's side. There are plenty more BA villains from Capcom like Airman from Mega Man II, Hauzer from Warzard/Red Earth, Jedah and Demitri from Vampire Savior/Dark Stalkers, And the Grandmaster from Strider.

I don't mind Gouki and Wesker as part of Capcom's villains, but I think there's a lot more of them that can be used.
