other than rpg i like fighting games too
melty blood is one fine 2d fighting game even though a doujin base
not sure about the story because i cant read japanese and only depending on gamefaqs for story pathway. the arcade is really nice with combo strings and juggles, only that it doesnt have many characters to play. The OST also awesome for a 2d fighting, like midnight raider, pe-ri-ca, and The end of 1000 years. its good raito should start seriously making a good fighting games like this and bring it to console like they did for act cadenza in ps2. I find this game better in term of fight mech than guilty gear. Downside of it is the story in japanese, no extra mode and not many characters.

I'm actually playing Melty Blood ReAct. And even though I don't like fighting games, i find it awesome. I recomend playing this version or the original over Act Cadenza, because AC doesn't have the story part.

Also I ended up grabbing 2 PC multi use controllers adapted to look like PS2 controllers and I play it like that. Just set up controls to mimic gameplay and good to go. Every now and then ill boot it back up only to have my ass handed to me by my brother.

I play Melty Blood Act Cadenza Ver. B for Windows. Ciel's my favorite character, though I think all characters are somewhat balanced.

And if there's one character I hate, it's Nrvnqsr Chaos - I hate his attacks that does multiple attacks in one move.

yeah you can, but it's a bit flaky. more fun to play it together in front of one pee cee with two gamepads to be honest.

warc! havent tried using her yet but the guys i played against made me realize that when her throw connects you're in for a world of hurt

try 5B 2B 2C 5C jc JB(2) JC dj JB(2) JC J2C or 5B 2B 2C 5C jc JB(2) JC dj JB(2) JC Throw(air) with warc for starters. The latter works versus virtually any foe (specially the biowarfare spammers), the former does huge damage for an easy combo.
Really, warc is the best in my book. Extremely fun to play, love the laugh (only Warakia tops that, but he's haaaaarrrrrrrddd) and some painful combos ^^.

This game is great and also a great manga and continuation for Tsukihime. My favourite character is Sion Eltnam Atlasia, her combos can be pretty wicked if the user is a pro. Though she:s quite hard to use for beginners...

True, and I believe the producers got rid of her haxor kick combo where she keeps kicking the opponent in the air through a spinning body kick, though progressively it does less damage each kick.

This is my favorite fighting game besides blazblue! I play this online with friends all the time! I cant wait for actress again to come out on the PS2 august 20th. Roa is gonna be awesome to use!
