I think the remake on Gamecube (Twin Snakes) was enough, but if the Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake were remade, I wouldn't think twice on buying them.
Twin Snakes made the game look like a joke, I personally don't like it. They made Snake look superhuman in the cutscenes, flipping around all over the place, like it was some Hollywood movie. It was over exaggerated and unnecessary. They ruined the music and took it out of key scenes during the emotional parts too.
I was hoping with a new remake they might actually do a better job.

I'd rather have Kojima and his capable team do it rather having someone else do it like they did with Twin Snakes, but we'll see if they are up to par with the original creators if it goes well. Still not hoping for anything at this point, though.
