Am been playing MHW for couple of hrs since realese day, and so far am been enjoying the game. Am new to the franchise, and I always wanted to play Monster Hunter, but I didn't like the graphics for the DS games, so never try it. Now that MHW in the ps4, I have no excuse to play it. The graphics looks great, the handling, and of the maps are big enough to get lost for several hrs exploring the world, which it happen to me in the first hours of playing. I would like to hear the opinion of beginners and veterans players, of what they think of the game so far.

A lot of quality of life improvement which is great. They are a little bit short on monster but that is expected since they need to make new assets for the game. I'm hoping they release more expansion in the future to make the endgame better.

Am been trying to play once in a while, and this at this moment am HR 90. With the new introduction of new monsters and with special variants of Elder Dragons it makes me to play more hours in order to get ready for G-rank

Well the DLC on PS4 is also nice. Better than PC content-wise actually since they have some collab exclusive content. I can also vouch for the DLC being very good. The content on release is about worth the price and there's been a good chunk of free content added since then with more to come.

Thanks for info, I'm been trying to play MHW for a while, but I don't have the time

Saw it on discount but then also saw that it has a huge new DLC. Not really running out of things to play right now so I think I'm gonna wait for a more complete edition to go on sale.

Well they do small events/updates every 3 or 4 months which includes new monsters, a new event or new gear, if you're waiting for a Year Edition promotion is not going to happen, just buy the launch edition and go from there

I approached burnout point just around the time of world's release. I had collectively about a thousand and a half hours into the series I'd binged just before it and since I havent even beaten the vanilla story. Feelsbad

True I guess. Maybe I'll buy it when Iceborne's on discount. I do really like snow in games.

In the first couple months of release and I play a lot of hrs, because it was my first MHW game. I think my rank is around the 90s, and I was waiting for G rank to come out. I'm been hearing good things about this DLC, I may give it a try
