You forgot to mention that not only the creator of the entire franchise (Tetsuya Takahashi) is coming back, but so is the character designer for the first game, Xenogears, and Xenosaga Episode 1.

Oh, for an added bonus, the composer is HIROYUKI MOTHERFUCKING SAWANO (Gundam Unicorn, Attack on Titan, Ao no Exorcist, Guilty Crown)!

So this was the new IP announced. Looks great.

[color=#006FFF]I didn't play Xenoblade (I've been watching my brother play through it) since it didn't look like my kind of game, but I might have to actually try my hand at this one. The scale is jaw dropping and the graphics and music are looking and sounding top-notch. Gonna have to keep an eye on this one.

Not going to lie, I'm really excited for this, even if it might not have a single-player in the way of a Story Mode. It's definitely using a battle system very much like Xenoblade's, but also has some sort of MMO-esque qualities to it, most obviously the chat log.

Damn it now I really need to get a Wii U who needs to pay for their car registration anyway? 8D

The latest Nintendo Direct kinda killed my hype for this game.

*doesn't see how* I also don't see why you have to be hyped up by the people presenting. To me, I get hyped on my own if I see a game I'd be interested in. Regardless of how well or poorly it is promoted.

That said, I can't wait for this game and I hope that magic will be a little bit more streamlined than it was in Xenoblade Chronicles. Melia was a great character, I found playing her only ok since she didn't do tons of damage like a mage should (as in possibly more than the main character if used right over time).

I can see the appeal. It's monster hunter with giant fucking robots. If it was on steam, I'd tag it "like skyrim, but with godzirra and guns." The problem with the gameplay, however, is that the feedback is fucking lame. I can understand assault rifles being shit, but how do the guns on a giant fucking robot manage to emulate pea shooters. Have these people never played Armored Core? The gunplay should sound—and generally feel—powerful. Then again, the monsters themselves don't really provide much feedback at all. I wouldn't know they could take damage if it weren't for the health bars and obnoxious numbers. They don't even bleed, which I suspect is related to the platform the game's being released on.

I'm sure this title will be a huge succeeded.

First of all, you can just say that you don't agree or you that you don't see how, the little asterisk thing isn't cute.

Also it's not about the people presenting, it's about the gameplay shown. How do you not see that?

Gameplay seemed bland and uncreative. You compared it to Skyrim earlier, and although some might like it, "Skyrim with guns" isn't my thing.

Also I tend to look down upon role playing faggots. The less I interact with them, the better.

About that, it's just a steam tags joke. For the past couple of days /v/ has been raiding steam and tagging kid games with shit like "high impact sexual violence." I helped tag all the NBA games as "yaoi," put Dark Souls in the casual section and determine what was or wasn't kawaii. Here are some kawaii games:

I don't know why everyone (/v/) is hating on this game all of a sudden. There's still a lot we don't know so people just need to wait for more news. Also, Xenoblade was nothing like Monster Hunter or Skyrim and I doubt this will be either. I mean yes, there's an open world and large monsters but the three games are very different from each other.

Also, I swear to god that /v/ is cancer. It's literally full of underage faggots spouting the dumbest shit.

Jokes aside, I know the game is a spiritual successor to Xenoblade but I didn't expect it to share the same combat system even though it does make sense.

/v/ isn't one person. I'm fairly certain it's not even a mast majority, at worse it's probably some intense Sony fanboys trying to stir up shit to piss off people like you.

And people not liking certain games isn't something that suddenly happens, take your victim complex somewhere else.

I'll admit that even though gameplay was shown(which is good), it's not enough to make a full assessment of the game. Personally my hype for it is gone, but that doesn't mean I hate or that I don't want to see what else it has going for it.
