As of right now, I am slowly farming Hvy spheres to up my Brachy armor. Then when I get to G rank Brachy, Imma get that armor... Maybe, I hate how I cant change pigments.
Oh, so I did the Port Jhen and well, I finished with five secs to spare. I only killed it because the dragonator became available to use with 20 seconds to spare. I didnt do anything different from fighting village Jhen so Im guessing it has more health or something lol.
So you didn't farm for a Helios X/Z armor? Gonna do the other G Rank quest sometime. And I did those Jaggi and Volvi quest with a hammer and a great sword. Reaped them a new asshole when I did.

@winter, no. My first G rank armor would be the Bhanabra X lol. I made it just for streetpass purposes. Im just upping my Brachy armor with Hvy. I am having no luck on Rathian Ruby at all do the G Rank Heart and Rathian armors are a no go.

What are the skills on Bhanabra X anyways? As for me I'll be haunting G Rank tundra for Flutterfly and Meldspar so I can atleast get my total defense to 600ish amount before I proceed to do the other G Rank quest.

wait till you're facing the Gold Rathian since that bitch will murder your ass with her violent poison and have the Pink Rathian's Movements too.
she's weak against Thunder so it won't give you much of problems......if you didn't do Silver&Gold rath solo,you're not skilled enough and able to make your weapon stop bouncing.lol.
also,don't forget to search around the corner for some hard to find bones when you're in their arena.

With the right charm and gem it can be quite the beast of an armor. Planning on getting Awakening on it so I can abuse the Narga weapons with it. And if by some miracle I get Crit Draw with it, GSing will enter a whole new level for me.
I cant gem Awakening to it because IIRC it goes as +1 Free Element -1 Status Atk, gemming in Crit Draw seems more likely.

Prob with crit draw is you'll need G Rank Diablos parts and other materials from higher G Rank. What's your charm table btw?

Those fish assholes are painful. I changed my skillset to S+1 HGE and Evasion +2. I lucked out on an Evasion +4 OOO talisman earlier after doing qurupeco's quest.

Wyvern's perch doesn't do well at upper levels. Considering it gets a fuck ton of green sharpness at R8 and 950 poison, but not even a spec of blue unless you got artisan+1 (you'll be bouncing off most of the monsters in tanzia HR7 since for attacks to not bounce of some armored spots you need to have white sharpness).
Chrome Razor is better at R9 with 1152 raw and 750 poison with white sharpness.
Poison stat will still come out in the thousands since Bhan X has +2 stat.
Though that 1310 poison stat... Plus felyne specialist...
EDIT: Oops miscalc. Kept adding Elemental+ in my head for poison stats haha.
EDIT 2: Forgot that Chrome Quietus needs awakening for poison stat....

Well the Bhanabra X has +5 Awakening, so praying for a +5 Awakening charm, of that is possible in the first place. Running on Tundra for Enduring Charms atm.

You're gunna take it anyway since Chrome Razor require gigginox parts.
The armor has status+2 and awakening, as well as a nice amount of slots for decoration.

My frustration seems to know no bounds, since I've started farming both Grank Diablos and S. Zin again.
No fucking hardhorns. No fucking S. Zin skymeralds.
My fucking hunt times for both of them have exceeded 50 each and it's getting annoying not being able to finish Blos X armor, Dire X armor, and S. Zin gunner armor.
So how are ye guys.
