Yes. Brach pallium is the g-rank equivalent of a Dios gem.

Prepare to farm though.

I gemmed in Capture guru and went ahead and killed Lagia. After Dios and Rath came out I ran around the arena letting them ram into each other dealing damage to one another. When there's an opening (like the other is on the other side of the arena), I would go attack. Other than that I keep running around letting them do the work as I watch the paint shine letting me know they're ready to be captured... captured both =D

Still took pretty long though to finish the quest. 30 minutes total, but yeah. I think I can do better now. I beat it when I was HR 7. When I went to HR 8 and got my rank (Tri system) I became 23. Now I'm currently 99 and have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better stuff than what I had before.




I usually get my fucium ores in the volcano.. and the Dios gem (high rank)... keep farming!

Oh, I needed the Fucium ores when I only had HR Tundra available. Farmed for a while no dice. So I went and did two more key quests and urgent and unlocked HR Volcano (offline btw). I then went to HR Volcano and got them. What pissed me is that one showed up in Tundra when I didnt need it anymore.

Just save your flash bomb (or bring extra) for Los and Brachy and try to let them hit each other to save you the trouble. Usually Los dies quick, faster if you blind both and keep on dealing damage to one of em.

Second Zin run

>Bought a circle pad and used him to break it in.

Funny enough, all I did was pure unsheathe attack and rarely do combo on this huge piece of faggot... Gave up on brachydios weapon since he:

1. carted me (very first)
2. bitch

Also, got my first Brachy Gem... Then I realized that the GS need one and another to upgrade.

This one is prolly a powered up Miralis.... Like the giant Alatreon in Tri.

Fought Jhen (village) for the first time in mh3u, not tri, mh3u.

Volvidon Armor with AuL and Plesloth Watercutter killed it with 5 minutes left. I fell a few times here and there and missed around two or three gong/bind timings which led to the ship status on low. Never the less I guess I still got my Tri skills on Jhen hunt. Anyone know if theres a Jhen on Tanzia and what is the health difference? Or if there is a difference at all between the LR/HR of Tanzia and Village? I know G rank is like way up there but dunno on the other.

Going to find out very soon... I'm doing my port HR so we'll find out in a few days.

Did village Jhen again with base Dios equips. Meaning the full armor and base GS. Did it with 8ish minutes left on the clock. Then again using a slime weapon on Jhen might be too OP.

use a Water Element GS/LS/SnS on it's stubby hands.
since that blue puncher is weak against water anyway.

Oh God FOG, underwater fight is a breeze now with the circle pro pad. I was completely relying on lock on before and it was hell. On a side note, farming Brachy for his gem to up my GS.

Been doing that the entire time.. Why I got carted was because I got hit by his slime, then he proceeded to do his annoying ram which causes explosions, and got hit, then he changed target back to me, and got hit by his tail ffs...

told ya.

@UC just roll 3 times to get those slimes off.
it's easier than having the deodorant to get it off even though you'll need to pay attention to your stamina and position.

get used to it.
if you remember it's attack pattern long enough,it'll be easy against it wether it's a single or dual Brachi mission.

although that mega sized Brachi DLC was too much for me since it took me out in 3-4 punches at me.

I did, but I was still with in range of the explosion so I got hit. IDK how I got screwed so bad that day.

Still no brachy gem in sight. It's the last weapon I'm using that I haven't upgraded yet. FML.

Faster! Farm more! Already maxed my dios GL and I'm a shitty at monster hunter to begin with!

There's no need to farm if you have a VE Gold Ticket. Trade it to the Veggie elder to get his Gem... Unless you want to for parts and to sell/armor/weapons... That or can't get them offline.. which I don't know if you can.
