Spent the last 2 days playing in the offline arena with my sister, to help her get the hang of playing it.

Ugh, my OCD on things is annoying the living hell out of me. Since the only way to make an Alloy Helm+ with Selene+ armor is to change the waist with a low rank one.

I gotta ask, why alloy helmet?

Cuz for a female hunter, its the only helm armor (imo) that looks good mixed with anything else. That and it has 2 slots that help with charming in the skills I dont get from the helm Im supposed to really have for a complete set. I can make all the incomplete ones I currently have to complete, since they're only missing a helm, but I like seeing the blue hair for my character.

Jho armor also looks awesome.

Ian plates and rubies don't seem all that useful to me. I got 2 of each and don't have much to use them for.

Save them. You'll eventually find a use for them. Be it for making all the weapons or armors. Or just plain in need of money.

You'll say it's useless right now, but later if you need it to forge/upgrade and you don't have it anymore since you sold it or something... RAGE!

Oh shit, you're right. I need the plates for the chest. Wasn't looking carefully at the list of parts since the Conqueror's Seal and Earth Dragon Gem seemed like the more annoying parts to get.

Good thing I don't sell parts that I know are really annoying to get.

Also, does anyone know what psychoserum is used for?

Its practically a waste of space. It just tells you where a monster is on the map. It will appear like its painted for a few secs then go away.

shit's useless now but during MH1 and 2 it was essential, or it's just me.

It's not just you. It is useless now. You can pretty much tell where they're going to move in Tri, but in Freedom/Unite it was random...and everywhere... well, for me.

that was true dawg, it's like they occupy 90% of the entire map so whenever they move and you forgot to put paintball, it's like fukken annoying. D:

So I guess it's just better to use auto-tracker or a paintball.

And plenty of Ancient Shards gave me a lot of crystal weapons.

3 Axes, 2 SnS, 1 Hammer, 1 GS, and 1 Lance.

Now I just need to forge a set that has Awaken.

Even if I did painted them... I raged. They moved to the next area and when I went in.. it flew away across the map... I go there... they fly back to where I was just at. Go back then it flies to where it was at earlier. Yep.

@Satsugai: Nice. A set that has Awaken.. I'd go for Lagia+ since it has Element Attack Up.

if you want awaken, go for Escondra set since Lagiacrus+ is not worth the parts, you're better off using those lagiacrus+ parts for the Selene/Helios armor, and grats, I'm in need of 2 rubies now. .-.
