I absolutely love this game. Since I never had a PSP or PS2, it was my first contact with the Monster Hunter franchise. Now it's easily the most played game on my Wii. I bought it on release day, played it for a while, then stopped 'cause I got a little bored and thought it a bit repetitive. Started playing it again 3, 4 months ago ... couldn't stop. Played the shit out of it. Now that I'm pretty much through every village and city quest, and did all the arena challenges online and offline I'm not playing as much as I used to.
Well, there's always the option to pick up another weapon, up until now I have (almost) exclusively used the lance for my hunting endeavours. Never really got into any other weapon and never saw the need to because I was and still am so into the lance.
Might be I first try getting into evade lancing some more, I still pretty much suck at it.
Either way, great great game.

Now I'm thinking about importing Portable 3rd HD for my PS3. Want to try using a gunlance. I definitely need some more MH in the near future.

provided the others know what they're doin. Left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth after I got 3 gems.


PS: didn't like P3rd much as well even though all of the weapon is there. It just felt like it's lacking something... That's all.

PS 2: The router is the cause for my constant disconnection at tri it seems... So until we buy a new router that won't time out TOO OFTEN, I wont be going online for a while... Hopefully i have Barbarian Sharq (P) by the time I get back online.

Must farm Ala for parts to make weapons, but I lack the motivation to do so.

I lack the motivation to even play. Haven't played since getting the guild armor...

I jump on every other day.

Ala axe isn't as cool as I'd thought it would be ._.

The Ala lance and hammer are the only weapons from Ala I think are worth forging =/

some douche told me that Devil's Crush(P) tramples Metamorph. Also, the only good alatreon weapons are the Demise, Black Harvest and Gleam, The rest sucks. Kinda noticed that since Revolution and Metamorph have low attack power compared to Ancient and Jho weapons.

Iron Weapons rules all others.

It's really REALLY hard not going online at all with a new character.

...really? I didn't go online at all with my first account and it was pretty hard since I didn't have internet connection while I beat everything in the village, and I was getting used to the game.

As for my second character, I flew by the village quests like a kid picking his nose without going online with my trusty hammer... then went online.

I'm basically do that with my sister's file. Sometimes I'm tempted to go online and just farm, but I suck it up and just push by with whatever I have to work with.

I love Monster Hunter Tri, I just get bummed when I see all the extra stuff the other titles had.

But still, it's a fun game when you have lotsa friends to play it with.

I'm currently lusting after the Vangis set, but I haven't really made much headway with that lol, damn Deviljho...
