So much time spent offline farming godbugs, honey, (blue)kelbi horns, raw meat, and making well-done steaks.

I got all 3 farms making different things, running around the island looking for Kelbis and Aptonoths, killing whatever big monster shows up, etc.

just back from TGS today and here's what i know about the upcoming G in 3DS:
-it's true the upper screen is smaller than psp screen but to make up for it,we can place our health bar/map/partner's health bar/item icon in it.
-if we click the item icon in the lower screen,it'll be faster to use the item than the usual "press L&R button" type.
-the alternative to move the camera besides it also using the pad in the small screen and we can adjust the size of it.
-if we put the target icon in the small screen and it spots our quest target, wherever we move the camera it'll be back to the target when we fixed it.
-when we swim, just move the character forward to the camera view. up camera while in water will make us go up too.why the fuck they didn't put it in 3rdP.gggrrrrr.....
-besides chacha,we'll get another one so it's kinda like the two felyne partner in 3rdP.
-the main monster's ability at first was kinda boring(just punching) but if we got caught in the green splooge that came from it's punch,it'll explode and can deal greater damage when it's in rage mode.
-plesioth in the water's sure is more annoying than usual.
so after the director of the series explained it,it's true that i'm interested and planning to buy it because 3DS in here cost 15.000yen(around US$ 150) just to experience it but i still don't know what's the slide pad's button used for.
it's true we can try the pad but it was a long line so i didn't try it.
it'll be released in Saturday at December 10th in japan.it got the regular game package and game&slide pad pack.
pretty weak if i compared it to the last year's hype.

This may not be the exact game but, I've been playing freedom unite for about 30 hours now.... Is there anything else to this? I'm kinda losing interest in the game ya'know - I just reached the Volcano area and yeah I kinda stopped there for now.
I'm starting a MH party with 2 of my other friends who has it but will it be enjoyable to play it with others or become just as frustrating as solo gameplay.

Playing with friends is pretty much a lot funner than soloing if you're doing a quest that involves you to kill some big Wyvern 4-5 stars+.
It depends on you if you have fun though. I do.

I started playing again a few days ago and my hunting skills were horrible. I did "Hunter killer" twice just to get some practice in so i could fight barioth.
Killed barioth in 9:48; I've had faster times but that was with an SnS. He also tried his TORPEDO lunge from across the room and almost made me kitty cart.

If only Tri had the dual swords... DUAL SWORDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY! (When I'm playing, of course)

Bug post spray.I wanna try those bows.
Using bow is fun. You can practically kill super saiyan Rajang with it.
And I was expecting Plesioth to be a total bitch underwater. *shivers*
Looks like we have ourselves a new bitch now. >_>
EDIT: I'm not gonna play Tri G
EDIT 2: I just saw in a scan that we can put something like an extension to the 3DS where it has another analog stick of some sort. Maybe for camera rotation hopefully.

that`s the slide pad that i was talking about.
at TGS,you can try to use it to know what it`s for but when i test play it,i didn`t use the pad.
even the director didn`t use use it when he`s playing it during the presentation.
i guess it`s either for an easier use of action buttons or the camera button.

It's actually a good strategy since the others can get free shot at gigginox that way. Me and my cousin tried doing it several times before long ago and our hunt actually went faster when someone or us gets eaten by gigginox. GS users and hammer users with level 3 charge can deal high damage in that short amount of time without getting damaged by the monster at all.

Good point, but I'd rather save the person from getting munched on rather than have a quick hunt.
This also applies to Jho, Los, and Ian.
