Nintendo DS RPG Suggestion??

I don't know if they're the games for you but maybe you should try
Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV or Final Fantasy Fables: Choboco Tales.
If not Final Fantasy... maybe Baten Kaitos.
That's just my opinion and suggestions.

Izuna 1 and 2, but only if you like Rougelikes. Also the FF IV remake is good, myself I didn't much care for The World Ends with You.

Sorry for spelling errors.
World Ends with you is by far, imo, the best rpg for the ds right now.
Chocobo tales - is a kids game, lots of minigames, and battles are fought doing a card game with in the game that has only about 60 cards.
Izuna 1 - Neat freeroaming, but very hard, and expect to do a lot of grinding and side things. Great if you work a night job, not so great if you want tons of different interactions.
Etrian Odyssey - grinding, the game. Tactics and concepts you decide early in the game will matter in a huge degree, so much so that you may make 2 or 3 times that do different things and level all of them. Fun, in its own way, but the sense of satisfaction isn't enough.
Luminous Arc - easy game play with generic characters and some nice hentai (hentai not included in the game).
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker - Pokemon variant. Fun, but really got a luck based feeling. Its fun for the bulk of the game, though, but lacks replay value and one of the starting monsters you can't battle others with in official battles.
Rondo of Swords - Tactics game with a twist. Move through units for an effect to occur. I liked it generally, but I didn't play it through, it got a little stale and the computer really gets an unfair military advantage, both in units and there units skills.

Since all of the good traditional RPGs were already mentioned, I'll recommend some different ones:
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl: Addictive as hell. That's all I can say about it. I guess it's true what some people say, you're never too old to enjoy Pokemon. Online play really makes the game. Battling other people and customizing your team is really fun.
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time: Not your traditional RPG but still pretty fun (and hilarious to boot too). Not as good as the first one though.
Also, try checking out some GBA games if you haven't. Golden Sun 1 and 2, Tales of Phantasia, Shining Soul II, Summon Night: Swordcraft Story are all pretty awesome games that you can play on the DS.

Golden Sun is a GBA RPG. You can read more about it here (just don't read the synopsis or plot since it's has some spoilers)

Awesome game. The battle system is just like any traditional RPG. Random encounters, turn based battles, magic system and all that stuff. The story is great too. It's about a kid named Isaac who has the ability to manipulate natural forces like earth.
The music in the game was composed by Motoi Sakuraba, my favorite VG composer, which means that it has a killer soundtrack.
Overall, I would highly recommend that game. Also, the game these days is pretty cheap if you know where to look. You really can't go wrong.
Also, that's just a little taste of the awesome music the game has.

Golden Sun will seriously keep you hook for 40 hours, getting the second is keep you hook for then an other 40 hours. And there's a system in the second installement, once you reach the characters from the first, you can have all your equips+ from the first.
I loved that game to death and i cry to know that i lost it :(

If you're into action RPGs, then the Castlevania games are also good choices.
If you like robots, then there's Custom Robo Arena
If you like the classics, there's the FF Series XD

Dragon Quest Monsters Joker is a good monster raising rpg game.
Mario and Luigi Partners in Time is a nice little different kinda action rpg too.
