Nintendo DS RPG Suggestion??

I'm currently having a lot of fun with Disgaea, but that's more on the SRPG side.
I'll put another vote in for TWEWY, since it really was a very entertaining game.
If you can run homebrew, there's always Nethack. That'll keep you occupied pretty much forever.

I'll put yet another vote for TWEWY in. I'll also give you a little tip for enjoying it: the main character seems like an emo twat at first but he becomes a decent guy after a while and the whole ethos of the game is actually a very positive one; anti- rather than pro-emo.
Also, you can set your level between 1 and your current actual level. So if you've got to level 30 you can make yourself between level 1 and 30. All level affects is your HP so if you're good enough, it won't actually hold you back. The benefit is that you get a far higher drop rate and the game also records the lowest level you've beaten every enemy at. Try and beat the final boss on the ultimate difficulty setting at level 1!
Chrono Trigger is an excellent game, way ahead of its time when it came out - enough to still pleasantly surprise players now.
There's a Suikoden game in development for the DS. Suikoden is an excellent series, though there are one or two duds in the series so far. Hopefully the DS won't be another one.

TWEWY is what everyone writes The World Ends With You as... It's a real pain in the ass to write out fully every time. :)
Also, if you write TWEWY into the Firefox address bar, it takes you to the TWEWY Wikia page. The more you know!

Luminous Arc 2 has been out at least 2-3 weeks, awesome game I also reccomend.
TWEWY is the acronym for The World Ends With You.
Games I reccomend: The two above, Pokemon D/P (if you have wifi) and all of the Phoenix Wright series.

I enjoyed Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen a lot. Very good traditional style RPG with a few interesting twists.

I wish I can say the same. Personally I do IV but that takes way to long really and I dunno how to do it properly or if there is an easier way. Me: Pokemon + ditto with IV desire, get at least 1-2 IVs for male/female, then use ditto with desire Nature, and finally breed Nature pokemon with IV pokemon. Also I wished I had emerald for reasons like thunderpunch metagross and such. EVs are much easier to deal with if I keep count correctly but dunno how to design my EVs (I mostly do for battle tower ie bad 252/252 spread).
For the most part I want to play competitive to semi-competitive online but need connection and trying to not use overused pokemon ie garchomp, skarmory, blissey, and all legendary (unless uber/legendary battle). Currently trying to make a hail team both single and doubles, double = fun.

well...as for me, I never expect my Poke-Buddies to be such a Perfect being...I never wished them to have 30/31 IV or whatsoever..It's kinda impossible without tons of efforts and patience unless you're using cheats...I pretty much satisfied if they got 22 or more desired IVs...And out of my more-than-25-EVd buddies, half of them are traded pokemons :roll: ..Trading is fun too you know...I also like searching for rare shiny pokemon with nice natures and IVs...
And I most often use the 12 points rule for battle....
It's like this...each player is given 12 points to make their teams into the match...
OU = 3 points
Bl = 2 points
UU = 1 points
And of course..no ubers allowed as they're only for kids and noobs...
For example...My team is Weavile (OU 3 points), Dusknoir (OU 3 points), Milotic (Bl 2 points), Torterra (Bl 2 poins), Glaceon (UU 1 points), and Manetric (UU 1 point)...They're totaled 12 points...
Or you can make a team with 4 OUs (4 x 3 points) or 6 Bls (6 x 2 points) it's all up to you....

If I can find people to play with online or whatnot I would love to use that point system you suggested.
Usually I do 1-2 31 IVs but lately would be happy with one. Yea trading would be fun but no wifi atm limits me.
Ok I love and despise hunting for shinys for many reasons. Obviously I hunt for the best looking shiny cause it is just plain cool, but the process confuses me sometimes. Mainly it is matching the grass type cause I get confuse with the white/brown ones when chaining but I find counting the shakes to improve my chains. I currently hold a shiny ponyta (modest, bad ability), a shiny dusclops (decent nature), two shiny eevee (1 decent overall IVs and one awesome set but may have neutral nature), and one non-pokeradar shiny golduck (calm nature). If anything I want a shiny swellow and beldum but I cannot see anything in the sandstorm to get the shiny patch (had a long chain of 50-60 cause of magnet pull ability).
Again would love to use the point system but dunno each category list like I thought dusknoir is BL not OU. Dusknoir is my favorite ghost type and only made a defensive wall/staller atm.
Only thing I want to do now if get wifi to improve my game and understand how to associate the EVs to have the best potential.
