Updated the main topic with banners of everyone who started paying Osu!.
It's impossible to do a lot of the beatmaps on hard without two fingers.
What's up with New Zealanders and their unmatched talent for stalking people. D:
Hey, I'm nowhere near Hibia in stalking techniques lol. Don't put me in the same category as him. :D
I see...keep at it. You're doing great, from what I can see.

Whoo. I beat my first five stars map without any difficulty decrease. Watching that guy's video and now using two keys instead of one for clicks is actually doing wonders. It's impossible to do a lot of the beatmaps on hard without two fingers.

But seriously, you're on a row. You've had almost 200 plays - and you've only been playing for like 2 days. What's up with New Zealanders and their unmatched talent for stalking people. D:

But no, I'm not that much of a freak. Half of my plays were retries in the first stage of a song, like twenty seconds into it, resulting out of epic fail and it's following rage due to dropping to 65% accuracy right after the start.I see...keep at it. You're doing great, from what I can see.

Well for some reason the website does not load for me. It is just a blank white screen for all eternity. /shrug

You search for the songs you want and download them here. You will need to register an account in order to download or play.
After you download the beatmap file, put it in the "Songs" folder of your Osu! directory. Open Osu! and it'll be there, ready to be played.
If you haven't played Ouendan/EBA before on the DS, play the tutorial. This game has a steep learning curve.

Added you both.
I think these three K-ON beatmaps are really good to start with:
Toyosaki Aki - Cagayake! GIRLS
Toyosaki Aki - Happy!? Sorry!!
Hisaka Yoko - Fuwafuwa Time
Osu! is not just anime music. Most good music I know are all on there. Take a look around yourself, it's pretty good. You're bound to find something you like.

any beatmap packs that you should recommend? If I might throw something in as well.
http://osu.ppy.sh/s/7055 - A remixed Touhou boss fight theme. The easy version is pretty doable and the first map I picked up.
http://osu.ppy.sh/s/3900 - A Simpsons song, a bit confusing at first because of it's somewhat-overlaying slides, but not hard to figure out and doable. The easy version, that is.
http://osu.ppy.sh/s/1956 - Monkey Island theme, literally easy to figure out.
My personal starting maps.
Next one I wanted to check out is http://osu.ppy.sh/s/7178 - Fuwafuwa Time, the K-ON! intro. Has an easy version.

I've been trying Hishoku no Sora, but still kinda flunked it...That map is pretty hard. It doesn't have a easy difficulty. Starts at normal.
I remember being frustrated with it when I started out. You should try one the the maps we suggested.
EDIT: I just realized you're doing a different version, just uploaded today. You're doing much better than I thought. Good job, keep it up! :D
I still urge you to try out the K-ON! beatmaps. They're really awesome.

Man the only thing that really pisses me off about this game is how the effects and words completely cover up the targetting circles and you can't see ANYTHING. grrrr >:[

lol kaimax you're off the Top 50 now. See how competitive this game is?
You can turn the effects off.

You can turn the point bubbles off? And there are some stages that just don't use contrasting colors and the circles blend in. >.< Or maybe no one else has these problems and I just suck.

Just played Osu with nacho for an hour. Those games were epic! We need to verse again sometime! :D
Those are supposed to make the game more challenging.

Stand
You guys weren't joking when you said it was difficult, I wasn't ready for it when I first started. Now that I've played a couple times I'm getting the hang of it though.
