Persona 3 Vs. Persona 4

I'm actually stuck in the middle of playthroughs for both games currently. Stopped playing P4 a while ago and for some reason a few months after I started to play P3. I guess I should finish P3 first..

Persona 3:
It has kind of a depressing atmosphere, but the story line's quite good - more of the worldly apocalyptic type. The art work not bad but It could have been better. What really annoyed me in this is the ridiculously annoying dungeon crawling that you have to do, although you can make them "split up" to cover the area faster but its still too much of a hassle. Establishing social links are a nightmare, and I'm not saying that coz I'm a noob (already beat the game 3 times) - its coz you can't say what you want to them without getting them upset - and when you ignore them the link reverses - thus you have to spend additional time to fix it. Furthermore maxing out all links doesn't really do anything - no alternate endings whats so ever... The game's pretty buggy too, in more ways than one... especially when it comes to weaknesses, there also the tendency that you'll be repeating alot of tasks especially in tartarus coz your team can be pretty stupid at times.. and we all know how that ends
Persona 4 :
Compared to the 3rd this one's pretty lively its more of the - local, mystery solving kind. Loved the story, it had a good deal of twists that made me say - "oh shit". The gameplay's a hell of a whole lot better for me in this one, now your can actually control your whole team instead of hoping that they would do anything stupid... Social links can affect the overall gameplay more significantly in this one, the higher the links - the tougher your team will be. So in the end I think that the 4th is better than the 3rd - in terms of gameplay, I'd have to say the I can't decide which one has the better story

Your power is unique. It's like the number zero... It's empty, but at the same time holds infinite possibilities.

I hate both games, but P4 definitely has a bit better story in it ,and no emos which is always a good thing.

Both game are great, but if I have to choose one it would have to be P4. I find that the Characters in P4 are better than in P3 (you know more about them in P4 then you do in P3). Both of the games are in my top 5 PS2 games.
