Does anybody else think Yu's combos are overpowered? I know I'm not that good, but damn, I get hit by one of his combos and like my whole bar of health is already gone. His ziodyne and Chie's god hand attack do so much damage.

I don't think they're overpowered but I can barely punish his Raging Lion dive attack. The guy's damn near safe on everything except the slide and Big Gamble.

Yeah he is pretty safe on almost everything he does.Yu's BnBs do hella damage on their own,but he can also do some really advance set ups and combos...Chie has great pressure in the corner and she will beat out a lot of things.

yu's set up are very boring IMO but so good, that being said there are small places that you can mash out of, but just be careful about it, you could do a risky dp, or an even more risky escape roll, dead angle is a good choice out of pressure if you have the meter, yu has holes, there are just small I would say, and some characters just can't take adventure of them

Alright, another question for everybody. What characters do you see used the most in network play mode? I keep running into a Yu, Chie, and Akihiko. I usually don't see a lot of people using Aigis or Naoto.

you run into those characters because of lag, unless the connection is perfect, you won't be seeing very many other characters, you may get lucky and ran into the occasional brosuke or kanji

I guess that's it then. I pretty much never see Yosuke and I've only seen Kanji a few times. Actually, the other day I fought the same guy multiple times. I only managed to beat him once though.

yea, this game is less forgiving then other arys games, lag can really make or break you, it doesn't help that half that cast requires a lot of lab work, so simple combos, some fun resets, and you'll win online, characters that love that, yu, chie, and akibro, if you do see someone else however, they will have really good connection and will probably be godlike

I run into Kanji every 3 out of five games, and Naoto quite a bit too. Only played about two Yosukes though and Labrys/Shadow Labrys is even rarer.

I ran into a few Yukikos, Mitsurus, and Chies.

All the Chie are scrubs who mash autocombo hoping I don't block the rampage follow up. I obviously do block it and get a huge punish.

blocking, for pros only it would seem

I've noticed, online, a lot of people mash A on wakeup. I tend to just block or occasionally throw a DP. If it's against a good Narukami or Chie though... Have to block those Persona setups. Online, so one seems to want to block though.

Same as most people the first week of online play for a game.Just trying things out, basically a lot of them are just trying to land combos or do test out a set up they learned or something.A lot of people are currently riding their character strengths(not meaning OP,but more of what that character excels at)imo.I still haven't found many good things about Labrys though,I feel she's strong if I set the pace of the match though.

For some reason I'm seeing a lot of Kanji, Akihiko, and Yousuke. As a Teddie main its so fun to troll the slow moving characters and finish them with a home run!

@convenit: lab has good damage and her j b is pretty good as it cross up very easily, will I can tell you more good things about her, but she is the only character I have yet to take into the labs

@Lone: Ka-Kiiiiiin~ the troll has hit another home run!

Either, I'm really good at Persona, or everyone I have played kind of sucks. I have only lost 6 or 7 times in about 60 games. =/

I'm using low tier Kanji too. So many frustrating games against Mitsuru, Chie, Kuma, Yukiko, everyone.... but I end up winning somehow.

maybe your godlike, or the fact that people panic versus kanji, I just run and chuck kunai, I'm will to admit that I'd rather you play my run away game then having to figure out that I have a throw punishable block string

Everyone in ranked kinda sucks honestly. I have a 33% win ratio but that's mostly because I keep running into DP's and not knowing matchups(like Labrys/Shadow Labrys, her damn crossup move gets me sometimes)
