Mitsuru's regular square attack is awesome. I just spammed it in arcade mode and pretty much destroyed everybody. Then I went and played online using Aigis and got my ass handed to me.

yea, mitsuru's normals are stupidly good, you have only a few bad match ups, aigis on the other hand from what I heard needs a lot of lab work to good into and out of orgea mode/X factor safely

PSN is Yukiechi if anyone wants to add me. I'm putting in a lot of work into Chie, but I can sort of use Mitsuru. I don't know...

To go into orgia mode isn't that hard, you just hit L1. Other than that she's a good character but it's hard getting used to some of her combos.

You actually want to use the the manual mode change, 22A... or was it B in combos? I don't know. I don't use Aigis. I just know that using Furious Action to change modes is much more unsafe. And... You also use your health.

True her pressure tool sends her into it, it is predictable if your in orgia mode and in a block string, though I'm not sure whether to risk a dp being predicted over letting the meter run out, though I guess you could always hard change. I do like that character, she a good utility character that can go in hard or lame it out with bullets.

there you go, it even shows the hit box

yeah, i'm already aware of it haha

very nasty move for tick throw setups due to the lack of blockstun. also kinda funny if you call someone out while running, they get thrown into a stagger state.

yea, I always enjoy watching kanji fights, most of the times when he loses, it's cause other players refuse to get him, they are just scared of the brofist

Unfortunately, playing Kanji becomes less fun later on. Yukiko and Naotos are pretty frustrating. Elizabeth and Aigis even moreso, though most of these matches except for Aigis are evened out by the fact that once you get near them and they make a wrong guess, they've lost a huge chunk of life.

Mitsuru is pretty painful too. Entire matchup is based on yomi x_x

try getting close to have the thunder hit yukiko/naoto/liz, even on block you can still advance up to them to apply pressure, once you get the life lead, turtle it out a bit and make them come to you. As per aigis, some points in her block string are in fact throw punishable, if you fight a zoning aigis, your gonna have to use some thunder/yomi to get in close.

as per mitsuru.....ummm that character is stupid and she doesn't really have too much match ups that are not in her favor, so play smart and IB I can't stress the IB part enough because without it, you'll be less likely to play the game as it will be the mitsuru show starring mitsuru and guest star appearance by that character soon to be dead

Anyone notice the blue three poster in Chie's room? lol.

I've been using Elizabeth and Aigis a lot. I like Elizabeth for Thanatos and ziodyne. Any tips for using these two characters?

Also who's considered the "best" character in the game?

aigis can be played two ways, keep out and going in, her org mode can be problematic for anyone trying to block since overheads can come out much more easier, your problem if your going in is going in and out of ogr mode, A good way to end your combos in ogr mode is to end with a dp, it takes you out safely and knocks your foe away as per keep away play style, you can control the air space with 2b, and some of your other firing tools, but be mindful of your bullet gauge also note that some characters can get through your keep game plan, most notably is brosuke and his ex run, be wary of it.

I love liz, that being said, you want to lame your foes out, well timed lazors and fire can help you control space while waiting to get more sp, on an offensive approach, your 2b will put you in the air allowing you to hit with a jb for an over head, after 5c hit comfirms you can do (214)x2 c for the super grab, in most cases you really only need to lame people out, but teddy, yukiko can give you problems, teddy can teleport on over and do teddy things, yukiko doesn't care about your lameness when she can hold dp and heal to full since it's projectile invulnerable, brosuke can get to you very well, respect his air kunai since he is looking to hit your persona, and 2b his as he comes in, as stated his ex run is going in, so on block you can 2b to punish if he goes for moonsault cross ups. mitsuru is a painful match for you, it is rather tough to keep her out, and once she gets in, it's hard to get her out, it also doesn't help that your dp is techable, you'll have to break out the super lame tactics, watch out for that whip, even on block it's pulling you in.

as per the best character, mitsuru, good normals, good air options, good supers, good damage, good dp, there is just too much good with this character, she has very few problems, most of with are the players fault

So I finally got the game, and I love it. Akihiko is so nuts with rush punches. Since he is rushdown heavy and he doesn't have any projeciles keepaway characters like Yukiko and Naoto naturally give him trouble, but its nothing some matchup experience can't fix.

Agreed in terms of Bad match ups. You're usually limited to using a select few moves, but I enjoy these situations the most, since it's less about deciding what to use and more on using what little you have to it's fullest.

The thing is, once you get in, you need to make it count. Go for strong combos that lead to strong mixups. Ideally, you will take damage as you try to get in, but once you do, they are dead.

so score attack, I made it to stage 4, then got bodied by teddy, what about you guys?

YU NARUKAMI..seriously just watch all that health disappear after trading a few blows. It's not that he's strong in terms of Combos, but with his moves he easily hits you the most times out of all the CPU opponents.

Edit:Teddie will probably hit you a lot since his moves are crazy

I made it to stage 6, got my ass handed to me by Kanji. I hate how some modes give the computer a handicap. took me forever to beat Yosuke, but i finally got past him by using Naoto's gun moves ove rand over again. lol
