Pokémon Black and White Version 2

Getting back on topic, I am awaiting Pokemon Black and White 2.

That being said, if I have Pokemon White, should I get White 2 or Black 2?

Either should be fine. Will you want to play again in the same (or at least similar, if a bit changed) world, or see what was different in Black?

Depends on what you're looking for. The version exclusives are all over the place. Black 2's got Garchomp, while While 2's White Kyurem is superior to its Black form, which is as lame as its fucking AWFUL sprite. The issue of version exclusives isn't really relevant with WiFi, sure, but if you dislike trading as much as I do, it might be.

When all is said and done, White 2's "Assist Mode" is a deal breaker when compared to Black 2's "Challenge Mode." I anticipate the latter with fervour. I already play every Pokémon game on Set; why the hell would I want them to be easier?! It's a goddamn Pokémon game, for Arceus' sake!

yea, they did that so if someone has black, when they get black 2 you can just trade with yourself

White 2 was my original plan, so I guess I'll do that. However, I could be persuaded for B2, since I decided on W2 due to Reshiram, same with the Black that I lost. RIP Shiny Patrat.

I feel bad since I lost my Black Cartridge. I'm still going to buy/play Black 2, but there's some events activated if you stuff. and stuff...

I lost my pokemon black, which contained most of my level 100 pokemon and rare pokemon that I obtained in events/trades. However, I hope Black 2 will end my sadness when I am able to buy it.

Thankfully, I still have mine...for now. And besides, eve if I did I wouldn't be mad because I still have Black and White on my R4 card.

Agh, wish I could use my M3 Sakura on my 3DS, but it only works on DS Lites..

Okay, so I didn't manage to play the first one. Besides knowing the story, is there anything I might miss if I didn't play either the first Black or White? I kinda want to play Pokemon again and the last one I played was Platinum. However, I want to know how much I'll miss if I skip the first ones.

Besides skipping what is perhaps the best game in the series (well, not anymore, with BW2) there are some storyline flashbacks you can access through local wireless or whatever if you've completed the first game(s). But I suppose that would require 2 DS's? I don't know. I haven't really looked into it because I don't really care. Also, many locations from the first games return, so you can sort of get a sense of what they were like.

The only negative aspect of skipping the first games I can think of would be you making me cry. Which I'm sure you don't care about. ;__;

I guess I'll start with this one since technically I won't miss a lot. Would have liked to see the "first Pokemon game with a real story" firsthand but oh well. That is, if I manage to buy it, still deciding.

So I got both of the games today and started White 2. Did the memory link and wifi event for Genesect before even starting on the game. Also before I do much of anything I plan on bringing over eggs of whatever starter I don't pick to both White 2 and Black 2 since I have a female of all three starters (fully evolved) in White.

And son of a bitch... Its been a long time since the rival beat me in the first battle. Apparently he raised his pokémon from an egg. Also I have a lvl 15 genesect now. Yeaa

i got my preorder today :D havent played it yet.

Still a bit of time until I get mine... Sucks to live in Europe, I guess. :D
