The Move Tutors come, Bisharp didn't get the Elemental Punches, and Lilligant still has no offensive movepool. I is mad.
...Yeah, like that's any reason to boycott it; buying both when they release~

So the U.S. release date has been confirmed to be October 7, 2012. The Pokemon Dream Radar will come out the same day.
That gives me plenty of time to get it paid off before it comes out.

Ah cuz I was contemplating on his philosophy of never keeping his pokemon in pokeballs and thought doesn't that mean they're all wild and I should be able to catch them...even his zekrom/reshiram. And with this I would spend most of the match flinging pokeballs at his pokemon while he struggles to deflect him all.

Although the design of most of the new pokemon are down right horrible, it's still fun and content filled. Although being able to get Lucario so early in the game makes me iffy.
The AI in challenge mode is pretty good though.

true but stealth rocks is a move tutor move, soooo many things just got useful, also golurk will be the only ghost pokemon that can set up rocks, it also opens up a lot more lead options. The Stealth Rock Tutor was expected after it lost its previous status as a TM in the generational shift; in fact, it was almost compulsory that it be included. Much to my dismay. I was included in the demographic who, back before B/W were out, were looking forward to the game at hand which promised an attempt at reducing Stealth Rock's ubiquity. Sure, there was still breeding for it and such, but at least it wasn't a TM anymore.
And then, this shit happens. *sigh*
Since Team Preview pretty much demolished the entire "lead" niche, I guess more entry hazards to go around for everyone to abuse sounds nice to them, but I don't want every single fucking battle I fight to begin with the opponent setting up Rocks on me; I can't exactly say I'm thrilled with this development.
...Not that any of this matters much in-game. The only Pokémon who's viable in-game selection of moves was bad enough that you'd MAYBE want to give it Stealth Rock that I can think of was D/P Empoleon, and even there, you at least had the option to breed for Yawn for a decent fourth move... [size=10]Yeah, I ran Flash Cannon to deal with Ice types despite the move's god-awful type coverage, so what? [/h]

I tend to play lower teirs, so SR isn't seen as much, I'm not sure how standard is but I tend to bring things that don't mind it to much since I know that it may come. personally I rather rocks fly around then toxic spikes.
I know rocks have a bad rep since it's in like every game UU and up, but it's a part of the game we have to live with, it makes it so that people who like switch a thousand times have to either pack a spinner or stay in and fight like a man. Also you have to bar in mind that you could be predicted and get countered before you spin them away, and vice versa, you know those rocks are coming send in something that can set up.
I may hate seeing the rocks when I have charbro in the background, but I love the mind games you can play with the hazards in general, I think of it like a mix-up, this is just IMO though, also solrock with SR and then blow up, let's go

personally I rather rocks fly around then toxic spikes.Really? Personally, I'd take Toxic Spikes over Rocks any day; I don't use them ever, but the concept is nice. It isn't completely broken, for one, and secondly, in the "best" case scenario, Poisoning the entire opposing team isn't always entirely advantageous for you, as there are some Pokés I'd much rather Burn, for example. Plus, you need to waste two whole turns to get the most of out it, and you risk wasting them entirely if the opponent has a Spinner. Stealth Rock, you just lay out, and let it do the rest.
Game Freak, after you broke the game with Psychic in Gen I, I didn't think you'd EVER design something to revolutionise the game for all the wrong reasons ever again, but... well, ya did. I am disappoint. Then again, it's been around since 2006-2007, so why am I even still complaining about this...? Oh yeah, it's because that's what I do best.

also solrock with SR and then blow up, let's goHaha, that's awesome; it's been SO freaking long since I've seen a Solrock. Man, I've forgotten how awesome the lower tiers are simply for the sheer variety in Pokémon. Not like 2008 OU, where Garchomp was on every damn team out there. Thank god it was sent to Ubers, which has even less variety, incidentally.

Despite me playing the series since 1998, I'm no where near good enough to play competetively; no, no, I merely play the games, and observe the series' existence, enjoying myself writing about various topics, whether it's about the metagame or otherwise.

Already a topic on the game.
KyuReshiammon is too overpowered. Exca is hardly a safe switch-in because of Ice Beam, and Kyogre falls to Draco Meteor.

Same here. Something about offline battle simulators turns me off, I guess its the fact that I buy Nintendo handhelds primarily for the Pokemon RPG's.
