I just noticed that the style of this one is so much of a grindfest. It's not that it's hard but you actually have to fight wild pokemon for quite a while, and just training one takes quite a long time. Last gen. was just run straight through and all the trainers gave you enough exp., but this one feels like you never get enough esp. for the amount of work you put into killing some of them. Whut? Never had to grind in my game, and I've already beaten Ghetsis in White...
Did you re-challenge the Elite Four yet?
Not yet, catching up with Black at the moment. As bad a wall as in the old games at that point, then?
I hear the Elite Four gets stronger when challenging the second, its obvious though, although I also heard that the ordinary trainers becomes stronger than the previous Elite Four I hear after you beat the elite four once, which is hard to believe.
The areas unlocked after that have certainly strong trainers. Checked out the Dreamyard basement and didn't dare to go on quite yet after the first fight with the opponent having Pokémon with levels over 60. :D It's a good thing to have these strong trainers, though. Otherwise training your own Pokémon would be rather hard, and there would be no challenge left in the game.

That certainly is true, I was planning on stop playing the game after beating the Elite Four not decided now that I'll continue for the little extras.

I feel so slow, I just got the seventh gym badge. Normally I powerhouse through my Pokemon games, but I've been playing this one much more sporadically. I do love a lot of the new features they've added though. I still haven't gotten over the novelty of them all wiggling. Especially pants lizard.

I wish they had kept the VS seeker thing or whatever, sucks not being able to re-fight trainers. But the whole Daily trainers thing is better.
Scraggy does have one of the best animations. Love the pants pull up thing.

I purchased pokemon white last march 12 and I was really impressed w/ the game and will all the new features like improved graphics, 2 rivals and finally, a decent storyline. My only complaint is that the pokemon does not animate when they attack. If they only move w/ their corresponding attacks(just like in those dragon quest games) I'll say they finally perfected the series pokemon graphics.
Battles are super fast and the wild pokemon are somewhat brainier now and tougher. The gym leaders has more personality and they are also interact w/ you in some parts of the story. Just got my 5th badge, cant wait to finish the game so that I can migrate my charmander from pokemon diamond.

The evolutions for some of the Pokemon is wth levels: I finally got my Ruflett to evolve into Braviary at level 54. Not to mention a Zweilous has to be 64 for it to evolve to Hydreigon.
Plus all my Pokemon are at least mid 50s while everybody else post-gamewise is low 60s. Yet I continue to wail on them; looks like levels are still numbers in some cases huh?

Well all over the map you can return everyday to fight someone for exp. You can go to the sports arena to fight people which increase in number and level the more you progress, there's always someone to fight out on the ferris wheel. After the Elite 4, I believe during spring everyday you can fight Shirona. You can also constantly fight your rivals on specific days.
Finally beat the game, was taking it quite slow awkwardly. Anyways, beat the Elite 4 up to Ghetsis with only Archeops and Leavanny. I love these 2. Perfect type coverage.

Ah well that's convenient, looks like I'm going to need to check around and figure out where all of that is.

Getting back on topic, I am tempted to purchase the new Nintendo 3DS and if I do manage to get one, Pokemon Black/White will be on my wishlist. It should bring back some memories of the original Pokemon game which I played on Gameboy classic.

That makes me wonder if Nintendo is going to release Grey version or whatever the middle version is called on 3DS.

Most elite 4 members have lower levels than that IIRC, but I've been running around after I rebred all of my pokemon, but I think I had a lvl 51 Haxorus and ran through 3/4 with it just to get some cash with the coin amulet thing attached to it, so you should be fine as long as you know what you're doing.
