Man, why can't the real pokemon anime look that epic! They took a bunch of jerky characters from the original game, and made them all baddass!

And that Arcanine! Holy shit! That was brutal!

And the pokemon they chose to represent too! None of that pikachu shit anymore, but the awesome pokemon that is Lucario!

Not only that, but man, just listen to the sexy voice actresses! Damn, they sound awesome! (The team plasma girl also has a nice ass...)

And then shadow ninjas, and seviper got its but kicked just like in game XD

Is this an anime or a game? Might get it after I get Kingdom Hearts for 3ds. Might just be the game that make me like pokemon again. :)

Just because Black / White 2 is coming out soon, I finally purchased the original Pokemon White earlier today. Yup, I am behind everyone by quite a bit, but I still hope my fellow Fakku members can help me along my journey as a trainer, since my last adventure in Pokemon: Yellow. :)

Have you gotten your friend code yet? If so, I could breed you the starters you don't have as well as a Zorua because that's one of them you'll need to complete your dex. Also Zoroark is one hell of an attacker.

It has high Attack, Special Attack, and Speed. On the down side, its Defense and Special Defense are a bit on the low side, making it a bit of a glass cannon. I have a level 70 Zoroark and she is one of my favorites from this gen. One trick I like to pull on Psychic-type move using NPCs is to have Emboar in back while sending Zoroark in front and because of its Illusion ability, they don't realize Psychic moves won't work on it. Then I hit them with Foul Play or Night Daze.

Pokemon B/W is designed for new Pokemon players, so it's a very nice starting point for your new Pokemon adventure since Yellow. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

For the friend codes, they must be used in-game right? They are different from the Nintendo 3DS friend codes?

Are there any ways to obtain the generation 1 pokemons? In addition, I started out with Snivy. Not sure if that is the best choice. And may I also kindly enquire if I should prevent evolution of my pokemons, assuming it is allowed in this game?

Since Snivy is one of the 3 starter pokemons, if it evolves into Servine, I will never have Snivy again? :(

That is correct. Since Pokemon B/W are NDS games and not 3DS games, they do not have anything to do with the 3DS Friend Code system.



It's the life of a Medical student. :( My exams will be finished next Friday, like I said in that thread in SD. I'll be on Skype and MSN again, and I'd love to talk to you about Pokemon B/W. Huge fan of the series, goes without saying.

Generation 1 Pokemon are not part of B/W until you finish the Pokemon League, but since I have a completed Pokedex if there any Pokemon you want, I can breed one for you. Once you have the C-Gear that is.

All three Pokemon have their ups and downs, and the game is balanced in that you should be able to get through the game without a problem with any choice. It's up to which one you like the most. Competitive Pokemon Battling is another business. XD

Also yes, if a Pokemon evolves, you will not have Snivy anymore. Its entry will remain in the Pokedex. Later when you get the ability to breed Pokemon, you'll be able to make eggs that can hatch into Snivy. :)

I miss playing these games. Lost my Pokemon White and then for some strange reason my Pokemon Black thought it was pirated. So it gave me that weird blue screen.

Technically no you can't get gen. 1's but if you want I'm sure any of us could just poke make one at lvl 6 for you to start off and have fun with. WOULD BE BETTER THAN ANY OF THIS GEN'S STARTERS. Seriously I still can't get over this gen's starters being the ugliest from stage 1 all the way to stage 3. Snivy is the only one I can barely stand to accept and even then I rather go with Mudkip since it's actually GOOD and has the lol factor.

I think Snivy is not a bad choice there.^^ Considering i choose Oshowatt and feel that now i had too many water pokemon on my team lol.^^

I can't beat the elite four on this game Q_Q

I do hope to play some online games, perhaps that of the DS or 3DS (if you have one), with yourself, as well as other Fakku members someday. :)

At the moment, I am trying to familiarise myself with the workings of Pokemon White.

However, there are 2 reasons why I purchased the game, to play on my 3DS.

1) According to everyone, Pokemon Black/White 2 will be released soon and I am hoping to find out more about both titles through the original Black/White.

2) Being a sentimental person, I am trying to relive my days as a young trainer, back in Yellow. The Generation 1 pokemons are the ones I am looking for, but based on the various replies, it appears I can only get them upon completing the game... which I reckon will take a while. :(

Yeah, I have a friend who was also from generation 1 and it was pretty hard for him to get back into it, I really hope you like the new Pokemon even if some of them look stupid lol and yeah i can get you some older pokemon. :]

Like I said, my pokemon white is lost to the Oblivion, and my pokemon black won't let me play. Its looking more and more that I have buy them again.
