Tyranitar + Garchomp is so dirty.Tyranitar is one of the strongest normal pokemon in the game plus it has sandstorm which does extra dmg. That thing is evil in a 2v2 match.
Yes, Tyranitar's ability is sandstorm. It summons a sandstorm when he is brought out. It does 6% damage to all non rock, ground, and steel pokemon.
Garchomps ability is Sand Veil. It raises it's evasion by 20% in a sandstorm.
Only 4 non legendary pokemon have a 600 base stat and that's dragonite, tyranitar, salamance, and garchomp.
So there are wicked powerful. Just as strong as some legendary pokemon.
Hey you forgot Meta........ And Tyra is one step ahead of them, because free sandstorm gives a free 50% sp.def.....
But metagross is legendary. Also yeah I guess tryanitar is ahead of dragonite and garchomp, but salamance has intimidate to cut the opponents attack, but tyra is still better.
Meta is not legendary =\....... My favorite is still Nite tho =].......... Meta, Tyra, and Sala are nice too.......

not quite you underestimate the power of intimidate it can cut back a 100 move to about a 75 sure accuracy loss during sandstorm is a setback but that cut in power can give you the chance to use a full restore or max potion

Well, if you play online, either on your ds or computer, you can not use heal items.

You know what pokemon I always loved in yellow? that fucking unevolvable Pikachu.... not it was Nidoking still is one of my faves in fire red its one of my stronger ones. I used Nidoqueen for awhile but she is just like her male counterpart

Breloom is awesome. Substitute/Spore, Focus Punch and Leech Seed were full of lawls.i never saw the point in substitute sacrifice hp to put out a doll that takes the same amount of hp in damage before its destroyed

It was kind of useful for Focus Punch on some Pokemon, but Spore is much better.

substitute is used from activated berries, baton passing, and charge moves like focus punch.
@roven squirtle was my first pokemon.

baton pass now that is a useless move you can just switch out a pokemon either way first thing it gets sent out its gonna be hit

I agree you also got venasaur faster than the people who chose the other two so that is always an upside

Bulbasaur was always my first starter. I hated Squirtle and Charmander (and fellow evolutions) wasn't all that great until third generation anyway.

That's why you use subtitute for baton pass, if you switch the substitute fades, and if you baton pass it stays, also it can transfer stats.
@yuri, I love ivysaur, it's my one of my favorites and yeah I was sick of everyone talking about charizard.

only problem with these three is its low speed stat otherwise probly the best choice because it gives yo a bonus against brock and misty!

Whoops, I meant to say stat changes, as in if you used sword dance(+2atk), then baton pass, the pokemon you switched to would have +2atk.

Some serve no greater purpose though.
