Radiata Stories

Radiata Stories was an rpg that I really enjoyed. It was developed by Tri-Ace and published by Squre-Enix in 2005. I really liked the game, it got good reviews in japan, but in the u.s reception was mixed. To all that had played the game, I just wish they had made a sequal to it. I know it didn't have what it takes to have a sequal, I guess I just wanted some to sympathize with me on the game. :(

btw character recruiting is even more tiring than suiko series......
and valkyrie is way too strong!

Finished both Stories, and tried the bonus dungeon, And Got hipped by cosmo queen, even though I have Valkrie. >_<
Yeah, recruiting is very tiring, too many time restrictiveness and too many characters, I even didn't got to recruit the top-three from each guild in my first play.
Played the Japanese version, and got Naruto's seiyuu as Jack's voice, and the morphing singing Idol Rachel, is voiced by Tamaki Nami, and she really sang in the Japanese version.
:D

I agree that the recruiting was a little tedious but I think all the battle action really made up for it with me what with the link battle tactics and all.
I also enjoyed Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, another game made by the same people. I don't know if you'll like it or not but it has just about the same in terms of gameplay, only difference is it uses a magic system instead of giving orders but it keeps in the tradition of epic special attacks.

I dunno, I bought star ocean till the end of time back when I was in HS and I had played it, I never understood it then I got grounded for my grades. And I never played it since. :? I just never understood the game.

Noob thread is noob. I've been replaying this game on the ps3 from scratch it's it's still fun as ever. Thinking back on it since there's no sequel, I wish they'd make an anime of it. There's a nice anime intro in the game and it'd be great since it'd make up for no sequel. :D

Was a good game. More simplistic gameplay than I thought I would enjoy at first, but it actually works pretty well, and even the most insignificant characters have some resemblance of personality, which is more than what some standard 6-8 character JRPGs can say with a straight face.
Non-human side FTW!

Completed both Sides *Hum and Elf*. The game IS great. One of my favs.
More info: Killed the last boss without being hit. Killed Ethereal Queen without valkirye *was too lazy to go back to the city* for both sides, haven't hit her even once *i was just using recovery items on my party and Links to save their asses from that mass attack*.
P.s. Alicia ftw.
Poor Jack is being chased by a Monster lmao.

So I'm just wondering...
look at these couple of vids of the Japanese Trailers.
-------------------------------------
ANIME~~~~?!
So did you think they omitted the anime part, and just exclusive for the trailer? Since, I can't find it in the Japanese version either

I love this game, but i couldn't play for long
(my brother was playing it at the time, we have an unspoken rule that we don't play the other person's game)
I was only able to play when he was out on retreats and stuff
