Guess I might as well add that I also loved this game, playing as both sides was fun, get all the characters/friends proved difficult at time, since the human side required you to have almost all the characters to get the good ones nano desu.
Like others have said, an anime version would be awesome indeed nano desu, thou a sequel...? I am not sure how it could be done, or where you could even place it at nano desu

Yeah, not really sure how a sequel is supposed to work. Everything was pretty resolved in the end. I guess you could always make up a whole new enemy and premise, but I would think it would feel very half-assed.

Spoiler:
So there's plenty of story to go on, having Lucian somehow come back, etc. It's just that we need Tri-Ace and Square-Enix to get off their lazy asses and work it out. =A=
I wantz sequel nao!

How is that anything to go on? It's a pretty clear ending. I guess you could elaborate on what Jack does afterwards, but I don't think they could manage to make a game out.

Yeah, but that would just be an endless stream of the same thing over and over again. I sure don't want that.

Or they could remake it for the psp. Like they did with FF TacticsFFT was old enough to receive a re-make and, after FF12, Ivalice has expanded so,there was something new to add into the game.
None of these facts apply to Radiata yet.
But they can still make Radiata 2. The story will take a place for the Jack's son.
As for mother, there will be a default mother and you can convert your savedata to change mother into *Elf side: Ridley Hum Side: Your GF* and the story will go like.....Guilds have gone out of control and a new evil has been born etc etc.
If i could make a RS2 i would make it go like this.
And by the way. Radiata is acountry not a world. They still have Sh*tloads of space to make a sequel.

I've finish the game for both sides, must that this is a very nice game indeed, i finish the non-human route first, then i play the human route, i like the human route better, save for the ending. also i love the equipment system, it changes the appearance of jack to different design. i especially like the devil armor and valiant armor. the first was cool and latter was nice looking. also not forgetting the weapon too, i love Leviathan and Efreet, they are so cool and hot!
What i enjoy in this game was the battle system and the story. but the one i most enjoy was the special event in the human route. this was the real reason i continually play it for the next 2 month, i try to see all the female NPCs in their normal wear. it was a pain staking experiences but worth it. not all was on my list especially Lady Anastasia.(Uh eh, that fat pig. forgive me if i write it wrong, it's been 3 years since i last play it.) the only one i wanna see but didn't saw was the warrior guilt's guilt master, i think her name was Gwen or something.
Well, this is a GREAT game, definitely worth playing. two thump up for Radiata Stories.

THe game had absolutely terrible endings that tell you nothing about what happens.

This game was horrible.Say what? Maybe your taste is. :P
Although I will say the game is pretty bland, if it wasn't for the huge character selection I would agree that the game was pretty horrible.

Reasons why it's horrible.
One, voice acting is awfull and it made my ears bleed.
I ALWAYS FORGOT TO SAVE AND THEN DIED AND WENT BACK TO LIKE 2 HOURS BEFORE I SAVED BEFORE
;_;

Great stuff but.... The non human side ending is obviously more interesting and has a great ending....
The gameplay is great btw.....
The challenge in finding the human party is fun, but the fact someone that I like dies makes me do not like the human side...
I have finsihed this game...
Just a question...
Is the queen of (i forgot) that gave me tri(what is it that increase all of u`r stats) actually a God of all Tri ace game???
What I find so fun is there is still a game after ending the game...
Finding the most powerfull dragon is actually a 2 dimension...
And nearly died because underestimating it.....

The Ethereal Queen originated from Star Ocean, Star Ocean: The Second Story to be precise. She was originally a summon, but eventually because a hidden boss (usually the most powerful one) in most of tri-Ace's games.
