Rage Quitting

I'm a very sportsmanlike player, and I don't rage quit online games. More like a turn-the-game-off-after-the-match-ends kind of thing if it's not going my way. I always make sure to finish my games.

However, I do occasionally rage quit single player games. I hate when the AI gets the best of me over and over. Other situations that may trigger a rage-quit are ones similar to Chio's first example when hours and hours of time is lost.

Meh, I only rage quit when the difference in skill is too great. Losing all the time sucks and winning all the time ruins the feeling.

If anyone here plays sc2 on ladder every day you'll at least get to experience one hilarious rage moment.

I'm playing a 1v1 ZvT when the guy 6 raxs, masses marines, then floods with them. I wanted to break my keyboard on my expensive laptop. D:

I rage quit call of duty alot...especially black ops where the modders and hackers come to play like faggots.

I always finish my games online, just differences in skill become apparent, especially when not many are online.
Go on Blazblue and its me, level 20, versus some level 256 guy.
I make sure I stick out the match regardless, but frustrations happen when you hit multiple fights like that in a row lol.

Anyway, another example here. I was playing Call of Duty World at War (an example mentioned earlier, may have been the same area in the game) where there were a group of Japanese getting all grenade happy as I'm waiting for a flamethrower tank to go past and flush them out of the cave. I died some 89 times before I flat out quit, and gained new found anger for anyone using grenades like there is no tomorrow lol. I have yet to get past that part still and I doubt I will anytime soon after a level of rage that I scared myself with :S
It seems like there is a definite COD link to rage, maybe I should stop playing them XD.

I was playing Mortal Kombat: Deception and I kept struggling on this one huge combo with Hotaru. I got so fucking pissed I punched a hole in the wall and of course, quit the game.

level 9999 on main char (rest is around 200~800 including adel)
followed gamefaqs guide for 4 slot with 0 rarity and level 100 land of carnage items

cried myself to sleep and throw away my Disgaea 2

Just got Crysis 2 and started playing the Campaign on Supersoldier. Fuck it's hard. I rage quit about every 30 minutes.

Black Ops. It was pretty simple to. EVERYONE WAS CAMPING.

This past thursday, my GB team and I were on Gears of War 2 in a pub match on security. In a partychat, were playing but not really focused on the match (we were all too busy joking about each other and talking about MvC3 and the Devastation tourney in october). I think the game was like 1-4 in the locust favor before I told my team lets win this match already, because people apparently take Gears pub matches to heart and trash talk ALOT.

So in about 5 minutes we bumped the score up to 4-4, and on the last round we took out the host pretty quickly, and the last round was 4v1 situation. Host ragequitted before we killed the last guy.

It didnt surprise me though, because that shit happens WAY TOO often to us. We usually use pub matches as a warmup if we cant find a GB scrim. So yeah.

I hardly ever rage quit but I do back out of games occasionaly when I feel that my teammates arnt pulling their weight or are just being fucking noobs in general.

Campers make me lol and when they camp I go into camp mode too so their nasty cheap tactics dont really bother me at all. (I would back out if my friends say they cant stand it anymore because its fucking annoying as hell for people that do nothing but run-and-gun)

The only time I would rage is when im playing FIFA 11 and people dont pass, Decide to fuck around as a Goalkeeper/Striker hybrid, Pass amongst their friends in defence to rack the 'points', Refuse to cross the ball and try to run it in to take a shot, Fuck around with 'mad skillz' and cough up the ball, Call for the ball and just stand there like a lemon jockeying, Running the ball into their own net to cheapen another teams good win because they're in a poodie and cant take losing a game fair and square, Constantly going offside... Seriously im sure that I could think of more reasons, Sometimes I simply cant believe the way some people play the beautiful game! (Do they actually know what Football is?)

the only times i rage quit is when:

1: playing call of duty: MW (PC) with tons of campers (i call them sentry guns cause they dont move and fire at anything moving) that carry a damn MG in a corridor

2: playing call of duty: MW (PC) with someone in my network using a torrent or hogs the internet i have (which eats up the bandwidth, dont you hate peeps like those?)

3: playing Defense of the Ancients (W3 via Garena) with a damn team that consists of people who quit at the start of the game, rendering a game of 2 vs 5 or so

4: playing any other multiplayer with someone using a hacking software (in any case, i still try to target them all the time to get revenge and hopefully make him rage quit instead)
