R.I.P. Nintendo DS ;(

The Nintendo DS handheld game series has officially discontinued as of last year. Therefore,Nintendo has stopped making DS games & has stop making Nintendo DS/DS lite/DSi/DSI XL as well. So what do U guys think? Does anyone want to pay tribute to the old system's death or does anyone have there favorite Nintendo DS system and/or game you've enjoyed over the past few years since November 2004?

Does this include 3ds as well. Cause if it doesn't then the rest were pretty much made obsolete by the 3ds and its variants

I still have my old grey DS with Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and Pokemon Soulsilver.

Kinda figured the 3DS was dead ever since Capcom gave up on Megaman Legends 3.

I guess it's a little late but I had fun times playing with the DS. Time for a curtain close and move on.

honestly I was a bit sad in the pants area when the newer versions [dsi, dsxl] didn't have the GBA port

I shall miss the great game library of the DS.

What? You figured the best selling hand held, by far, atm was dead because Capcom cancelled a game they weren't sure was gonna sell? ...

At least it was dead to me, did I claim I was an expert in the gaming industry?

And who claimed you were an expert? It's called common sense to not talk about shit you don't know anything about.
But since we are on the subject, how did you come to the genious assuption that it was dead?

My favorite DS game was Advance wars Dual Strike, I still have my 3DS though so I can still play it.

Yeah, my opinion on the subject has suddenly became a importantly assumed fact.


Common sense isn't as common as you think it is. I can talk whatever I want, it's your decision that compelled you to open your big mouth and quote people in a negative light like it's worth someone else's time to shun me on what I think and feel about something.


I didn't "figure" anything out, I just thought the 3ds wasn't worth buying if Capcom was going to drop the whole mega man legends 3 project despite the fanbase rage.


It was dead to me because the 3ds was just a DS with 3d capacities and I honestly didn't look more into it since I stopped playing the DS at that point. When I looked at the few games that were coming out, which one of them was ML3 I had an interest but that interest died along with my taste in handheld games.

I'm not entirely sure if you are somewhat offended or pissed off by my statement but I'm gonna let you have the last word and sorry if I posted something that made you ever feel that way.

It had a good run. Though it's not a complete loss, since most game stores and online sites still carry them.

I still play DS games on my 3DS...like dragon quest.

If anything you should try that with Nacho, he's closer to your level.

Skill differences are completely irrelevant in team games. :)

I still have my original sapphire ds from 04. The thing's gone through more shit than anything I've owned through the years and it'll most likely outlive me given how indestructible it is.

Have my Lite right here. Mostly using the 3DS for playing these days, but it's still useful for moving Pokémon between games.
