@HokutoCorpse: Can we have your character name + Code instead of the E-Mail? Some of us don't want to use Real ID.
ZvZ is actually the easiest matchup below Masters. You just have to do this build that Destiny teaches and you'll win 90% of your ZvZs up to Diamond. I can personally attest that this Roach timing push is pretty much impossible to stop unless the opponent do the exact same build and has better control than you.
If your opponent even makes one or two more drones than you, he loses. If he makes spines, he will also lose because he will have less roaches. If he makes banelings, as long as you know how to control your lings you can't lose. If he makes Mutas, just stop ling production, make more queens, put up a evo chamber and drop a few spores. Your roaches and lings will kill every single drone before his mutas kill all your units - in which case you just need to make 10 hydras, go in and win. If his mutas head straight for your base, you will have enough units to defend it until your roaches and lings kill every single one of his buildings.
The most important concept of ZvZ is that you MUST match the opponent in unit count, NOT drone count. If you have more drones, you will die. This is what makes ZvZ so radically different from ZvT and ZvP, where you're searching for opportunities to make a batch of drones.
You weren't confused. Where did the post go? =o
Anyway, have another replay of the game I just played. This is why you shouldn't do a 6 gate off of one base, because it just doesn't work if the initial push fails like it did. Typical Plat level game, nothing really exciting.
[ZvP] ImperialX (Plat) vs Syrexin (Plat).SC2Replay
I was in Diamond but I don't play often enough now to stay there since I limit myself to one or two games a day. Uni is busy stuff. You get demoted if you don't play more. Well, it does mean half my opponents will be plat and they just get slaughtered - which is fun. :P

Now I just need to find a stable way for my ZvZ which is by far my weakest match-up. All my cheeses have failed, so I'm aiming for mid game wins now, I don't do well late game vs zerg.ZvZ is actually the easiest matchup below Masters. I'll try that ZvZ once I stop being chronically tired. As long as it gets me out of silve, it's all good.

Gaah... seems everything I do there last 2 days is made of fail and AIDS... Completely fail in every game of any game.

Here's another game I played just now.
[ZvT] ImperialX (Z) VS Night (T).SC2Replay
This really highlights how important scouting is for Zerg. I was really chillax at the beginning because my opponent is only Gold, and I didn't sack the crucial overlord at the 6:30 mark. I paid the price by almost dying to cloaked banshees. However I think the replay is valuable for other Zerg players to see what to do when contained.
And yes, I imagine he was pretty angry by the end of the game. :P

Been watching sci3 damn good games. Anyone wanna see the vods? if so ill link itI saw the game of TLO vs Destiny live yesterday. Destiny did a damn good job in game 1, especially considering he's not technically a progamer.

This is some kind of bullshit. When I play Zerg seriously with every intention to win, I keep getting silver opponents. I pick up Terran for a little off-race practice, and I get 5 Gold opponents in a row...

I've been playing more and more Desert Strike (custom) recently, anyone else played it? It's pretty fun.

From the official Starcraft Facebook page:

Offering a unique look at what’s to come in StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, this silhouette teases a new, mysterious terran unit. But what could it be?
The current community theory is that it's a Hellion that transforms into a firebat'ish bio unit (hellbat?).

I think it looks like an scv transformed.

cannot wait for HotS to come out, SC2 has been lacking in variety for me for quite awhile and some fresh units can change that.
