Yeah, I check smash bros dojo daily for the updates. I really liked the 1st one and melee was great too. This is one game that I'll probably get shortly after it comes out (normally I wait until I can find a game for $20 or less).

I don't really care about the 3rd party stuff. I don't mind like 1/10 being 3rd party or something like it currently is planned.

As of this morning, smash dojo confirmed Sonic as a character. It was one of the most argued over things previously, so I thought people may be interested. Personally I think sonic is and always has been kinda lame, but I guess I can't complain, just means I can pummel him with every other character in the game.

This is definitely one of my favourite game series ever. I've honestly spent too much time on it; I'm actually ranked 1st in my area on SSBM.
Although hearing Sonic will be on it kinda feels dumb. He'll probably be another fast but weak character (my specialty) like Fox. Another thing was, it took a while to adjust from the original to Melee... there might be quite a few changes in Brawl too.

did anyone else notice that the release date has just been delayed? and that its now the 24th of january for japan(on the site)

Sucks to be delayed. But looking forward to playing SSBB online. Wonder if its possible to do Online Co-Op..

Ok, the dojo updated on the release date today. The release date for north and south America is Feb. 10th

The game looks amazing. I actually shouted in amazement several times.
I'd get a Wii just for this game.
