It is easily done with Yuri by himself by using the Tension skills to have Yuri in infinite Overlimit loops.
What is absolutely needed is: High Tension, Hyper Tension and Ultimate Tension. These skills allow Yuri to automatically activate his own personal Overlimit (not based on the teams Overlimit gauge) every time he lands enough hits in a consecutive combo. So basically you can use the normal attack chain, followed up by a Base skill with multiple hits (e.g. Shining Fang), followed up by an Arcane Arte or Altered Arte (e.g. Dragon Swarm, Shining Dragon Swarm, Shining Fang Drop, etc...) and once you activate High Tension after twenty-eight hits you'll be in Overlimit Level One so you can repeat the process until you activate Hyper Tension, and so forth. You can use this to carry you to infinite numbers.
This video: here, gives some decent instructions and example of using Yuri for infinite combo-ing. The only thing he failed to mention is that you will likely need to use the Skill Minimum Damage to make sure you only do 1 damage to an enemy with any attack. That way the enemy won't die before you combo string reaches and/or exceeds 100 hits.
If you need any more specific details on the skills he uses, and what they do, or even how to get them, let me know and I'll try to help further.

Oooh thanks! I've been trying to combo normal>basic>arcane>altered>burst then mystic but I always ran out of over limit by around hit 60 or so. I have the minimum damage and I cam across a sword I need to synthesize that adds 2 attacks to my normal attacks. This is my second run, I just didn't notice the tension things (the game is rather vague when it comes to certain things).

I have this game, and have had it for about a year now. Have barely played it though! I've come to Nor Harbor, and not haven't done much there at all, although I believe I'm supposed to get out of the city now.

Lol... feeling spoiled for just knowing The PCs...
By this time, I bet most people that haven't played this already know all the PCs. lol
Oh and ONE thing.
You don't go into here if you haven't played it and don't want to be spoiled.
It's your own fault.
If there's a game that I haven't played and don't want to get spoiled, I'll stay away until I started playing.

Did you even read the "I don't care" part? You may also take a look at the "; )" smiley, which indicates a "joke". No need to be rude, I haven't done anything to you.
Oh, and one of the reasons I go threads about games I haven't played is to learn about them, to read opinions about have good or bad the game is, as I don't want to put $70-$80 on some random game, or even the 10$ it would cost to burn the game.

then go to somewhere more appropriate like gamefaqs for an example.
The ones trying to discuss this freely, will be bothered by the guys that always go "Hey you spoiled that for me, that you very much."
