The console wars

chances are that microsoft will have to pull something else out, that much could've been expected because they wanted to get a jump start on the next-gen race. i doubt they will have any problem upgrading, the problems arise when they try to get people to buy it.

sony and microsoft both have their strategies and for their times, they were good. pages ago i gave up hope on the market though, it just bothers me to no end..

like i said, ill stick with my Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo lol

I will buy PS3 soon. Maybe tomorrow. I have doubts seeing XBOX 360 game list. But I believe in Sony and I heard that XBOX 360 has something called Three red ring of led. It is said to be like in persona 3 when you die, TROL is not a hunter unbeknowist to its prey.......(u know the continuation) :twisted:

Then I`ll add that I buy because I have PSX, PS2,PSP. It`s only natural to buy PS3 right?

It was a sellout. Disk space has absolutely nothing to do with it. Look at Lost Odessey for the 360. It was too big for 1 disk, so what did they do? They put it on 4. Can't run it because of graphics? No problem. High poligon models of games or anything need a starting block. They start with very low quality blobs and after they shape it into something, they sub-divide it 'til it's nice and smooth. All they had to do for the 360 was to make sure they didn't sub-divide the faces of the polygons as much... They were doing that with PC games for years, so why can't they do it now?

PD free roaming open world games like GTA 4 CAN'T be put on multiple disks.

Well, they can, but it would slow it down and it would be inconvenient. But as I said if you lower the polygon count, the file size also goes down considerably.

Either way it seems microsoft has paid off the developer. It will be for the 360 now but as a ps3 port. So the PS3 Version won't be chopped/limited.

Hmm. PS3 version probably will look prettier though. I just like the 360 better because the games on it are more compatible with my type of genre. :D

Man, look at all those great titles some of you guys are missing. The good thing is that there's probably a lot more quality titles out there that I haven't played yet.

But like you said, no PS3 or Xbox owner would want any of those games. How sad.

I literally don't want a single one of those....except resident evil 4 if it is better. Hell half Ive never even heard of.

well then you've been living in some form of cave... these are classic franchises. some of the greatest games ever made.

Don't get me wrong I know metroid, mario, zelda, Im a BIG Resident evil fanboy the basics but I stopped following nintendo games years ago.

If Sony & MS ever had the chance to buy Nintendo they sacrifice both their left and right nuts to get 'em, Nintendo's games always break the million dollar barrier and are critticly acclaimed.

Nintendos games >>>> whatever shit Sony and MS themselves release, in fact, do they even release anything?
